Hi Leo,
Just writing to thank you for the fantastic time I spent in China, it was good to meet with you in Guilin and thanks again for dinner, it was nice to put a face to the name.
I hope I filled your form in to your satisfaction..
I was really happy with all aspects of my holiday. I couldn't pick a fault in any of the plans or arrangements or execution of them. All the guides were well prepared, punctual, courteous and helpful (quick thank you to Andy in Shanghai for going out his way to get me a plug adaptor that I callously forgot to bring), and a special mention to Ellie in who made my time Xi'an the highlight of my trip. I am now seriously considering visiting China again, keep up the good work guys!
Please find some attached photos for the customer pages, they are resized versions(smaller) if you want higher def versions of any of them for other parts of your site please just ask. I have missed out any of the great wall, the big buddha statue on lantau island and Macau, If you like I will send more/some in a future mail.
PS For the ladies in your office I've also attached a couple pictures of me and my brother in a 'kilt' at his wedding.
Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you
Thanks and
Best Regards

Hi Louisa,
In fact, I've alerady recommended you to several people, also friends and colleagues here in Hong Kong, so you may get even more business. We think you did an excellent job for us, so it's no problem at all for me to recommend you.
Did you get the evaluation forms we sent to you? My wife did it, but I hope that's been sorted. All the best wishes,

Dear Louisa,
I'm very much pleased to receive such a nice mail from you.
I feel sorry for your sickness and hope you are in a better shape now.
In fact, I'm in Paris since last sunday only and I had no time to review all my photos from China.
I plan to produce a DVD and a site with the photos (I'm not very good at writing), but I wait the delivery of my new PC (i-mac with the latest i-life software) mid december to do so.
I plan to share the resulting video with you through U-Tube by mid january.
Do not hesitate to adress me any french or italian potential customer to promote China Odyssey. I'm enthusiastic about China Odyssey service, may be I was lucky to have you and the local guides as partners. I'm trying to persuade a couple of friends to travel to Yunnan and Tibet after the olympics (probably in 2009), I will let you know the period as soon as we decide (probably before june) the central idea of this tour is to travel from Shangri-la to Lhassa by car taking time to enjoy the mountains scenery.
You will find attached a very nice souvenir I have from you.
All my best wishes for you Louisa !!!

Hello Linda,
We are now home from our very exciting holiday firstly on the cruise ship to Beijing and travelling thru part of China arranged by yourself.
Linda I wish to thank you and apologise for being sceptical of your arrangements (ie no documents in hand). At each destination the guide and driver was there to meet us, very pofessional, good English and fun to be with. All tours were very good and the small personal things we needed to know, our guides were able to assist. ie find us an internet site, where are the markets etc.
All in all it was a wonderful holiday, the Yangstz cruise was good, although the Snow Mountain was a bit old (yes I know you wanted us to go on another boat!) but we made some lovely friends, only 8 of us spoke English as 1st language, rest were German and Chinese. Hence we stuck to-gether. We loved Xian and wished we had one extra day there and one off Shanghai....too late. Also the business class seats were a surprise on the flight from Yichang/Shanghai, we saw that the flight originally booked had been cancelled, bit worring at first, but I had faith in you.
The shopping was very good even the shops had only winter clothes, I still had to buy a new suitcase!! Good buys for children.
If I hear of anyone else wanting to travel China I will give them your email, so thanks again for arranging such a wonderful holiday.
Cheers Julie and David Gardiner

Hi Louisa,
We had a WONDERFUL time in Guilin! Thank you so much for organizing it for us. We loved the area - particularly Yangshou, the river cruise and the bicycle ride into the beautiful country side. Next time, we want to spend more time in Yangshou because there was so much more we wanted to see in that area (I'm so glad we had to spend at least one night there!). We've already recommended your service to neighbours and friends, so don't worry, we'll spread the word. Our friends from Denmark, Mette & Jes Jessen will also contact you shortly to ask you organize their tour next year.
We have filled in the papers we got from you and Lucy and will return them to you, but I'm afraid we don't have time to do anything with our pictures etc. We also liked our guide very much; she did a good job. And the train ride was very pleasant indeed, so if anybody else wants to use that service, it's highly recommendable.
All the best wishes, and thanks again

GUIDES:
As interpreter, we had some very good guides to GUILIN, and HUANGSHAN SHANGHAI, good guides to CHENGDE, XI'AN, and SUZHOU HANGZHOU and one guide to BEIJING very average. All the guides were friendly and considerate with our group.
DRIVER OF CAR:
All bus drivers were well on the whole except for BEIJING who was driving very fast and was too driven, and that of HUANGSHAN who fell asleep during the route between HANGZHOU and HUANGSHAN.
For CONCLUSION:
We recommend your agency to go put his knowledge at our disposal guides speaking french very funny and knowing meet our expectations. Thanks China Odyssey Tours. Thanks for all LOUISA.

Hi Linda,
Now that I am home and have had a little time to reflect on my tour of China, I just wanted to write and thank you and your associates for my wonderful trip. My guides were all fantastic; beautiful, knowledgeable and professional, and when you speak to Mindy, Maggie, Tiffany and Sue give them all my thanks and best wishes. All the transportation, including the drivers and airline connections were perfect and the hotels and restaurants were better than I would have selected on my own.
I had many favorite parts of my tour, but I think I enjoyed Guilin, Longji and Yangshuo the most. These cities were more peaceful and I enjoyed the river cruise and touring the countryside. The Great Wall and Terra-cotta Warriors were impressive and I'll remember them the rest of my life. I also enjoyed the lunch in the Hutong very much. Grace, the Hutong guide was fun and able to answer all my questions. I even enjoyed many of the factory store tours, even though I wasn't very interested in shopping.
I really appreciate all the work you put into my tour to make it special for me. You did a fantastic job, and I'm really glad I got to met you in Guilin. Thanks again for returning the bag I left in your conference room to my hotel. I would be glad to share my experience with other travelers investigating your service. You have earned the highest recommendation.

Hello Sophie - how are you.
We have returned from your fantastic country and I wanted to say thank you for everything you arranged for us, including the birthday cake.
I can not begin to express our enjoyment on everyday of our trip.
Each guide was fantastic and each city was truly amazing. we can not forget the Great Wall, the Terra-cotta warriors, our cruise and all the temples and people we met. We are already planning our next trip back.
I know you tried to help us in Beijing after the mix up at the airport and we thank you so much for doing this. The Bund Hotel was just perfect and we were well looked after. What upset us was that the manager lied to us rather than trying to fix the problem which cause the grief.
I have already told people to make contact with China Odyssey, do they make contact with you?
it was great to meet you and share dinner with you and go shopping. Sarah bought a warrior which is being shipped home so she was very happy with the shopping.
kind regards

Hi, Sophie.
We are home, recovering from the jet lag.
I'd like to thank you again for the wonderful trip you have organized. All sites we have visited have been organized perfect. We were impressed that even in Beijing on our way home a guide has met us and, though we met him only for a short time, he was very helpful.
Our impressions from the sites we've visited and, in general, from your great country are overwhelming. We still have to sort out everything and digest them.
The guides that accompanied us at every site were very good. Especially Brave and the driver Chen in Beijing with whom we really made good friends.
Thanks very much for your lovely presents.
I'm attaching here the picture we've taken together in Guilin. Please send me the picture you've taken with your camera.
How are things with you? I hope you're OK and everything is good.
Warmly

Dear Vera
Thank you for your kindly e-mail message hereunder. I'm now backing to the office, after a pleasant trip to your country: the organization of the China Odyssey Tours was excellent and I've no repair to make. I've already transmitted to some persons my appreciation. Your persistence and professional quality was exceptional.
The charged price is fair enough for the quality of the service given. All the hotels were exceptional, namely in Shanghai and Beijing. Concerning your staff, namely the guides, they were good and very experts on the matters; the motorists drive very safely and the quality and comfort of the vehicles was very good too.
As a conclusion I must say that if I return to China I will not hesitate in appealing again to the services of the China Odyssey Tours.
Finally, I must thank the efficient and gentile form as Vera dealt with this issue.
Yours faithfully,

Thank you very much for your kind e-mail and photo. It reminds us of the beautiful time we had in Guilin. We enjoyed very much the entire trip in China.
In the near future we will tell you in more detail which parts were exceptionally sucessful. We shall also try to send you some pictures.
Unfortunately, we did not have with us in China a digital camera. We took pictures with a regular camera, that are now in the process of development. We will try to scan them and send you some of them.
We would like to thank you once again for arranging for us such a nice trip.

We had a wonderful time in China, it truly was a spectacular journey that we will long remember. Our memorary will be greatly aided by the 2,727 pictures that we took. I have culled that number to some 800 that we are in the process of putting titles on and then will post on the internet for all to enjoy.
Please convey our thanks and appreciation to those guides that we highly recommended. Also, your management should recognize the tremendous effort that you expended on our behalf. Planning and coordinating a trip of 37 is not easy but you rose to the challenge and put together an exciting and wonderful tour for us. If you would like me to write to them and provide more examples of your service I will be happy to do so.

Dear Mr Huang
I wanted to thank you for providing us a wonderful tour in China. I have heard that you thought we had a bad experience with the hotel in Xi'An but that's wrong : everything was fine.
The only problem we had was that we did not know at what time the train arrive in Chongqing (we thought it was the 28th of august in the evening but it was the 29th, early in the morning : this information was not written on the planning). Plus we had to wait all day long in Chongqing without anything planed while waiting for the embarkation on the Yangzi Cruise Boat. But Joan (our local guide) made it a really pleasant day : after having lunch in a hot pot restaurant,we visited the zoo to see the panda, Eling Park and the old city gate.
I have read in the document you send to my mother that you might want to have our impression on the tour and maybe several pictures. So as I wrote it, it was a wonderful tour ! Our local guides were very good (English speaking and presentation of the cities), especially Viviane in Beijing. If you want me to send some photos, you can contact me at this address : tmoldoch@free.fr.
Thanks again and maybe we'll come back to China !

Dear Leo,
I am writing this letter to express our greatest gratitude for our wonderful tour of China! You did an outstanding job setting our tour in motion. We are bragging about your hard work to all of our friends!
We want you to know the itinerary was thorough as we experienced far more than we expected. I am working on a picture scrapbook currently trying to recapture all that we saw in those 9 days. I just wish I could share it with you and all of our kind tour guides.
The way you set us up in wonderful comfortable hotels, the food- it was just amazing.
Most importantly, the way you stayed in contact with me while the credit card thing went haywire- we appreciate your hard work very much!
Our tour guides were excellent! First, they were all so smart, perceptive, and full of information.
Alice was warm, personable and eager. Ellie was ambitious, funny, and personable. Michael was so kind and patient, extremely capable at maneuvering us around. We totally enjoyed each one, and have the highest praises for each! Our drivers did an amazing job getting us around as well. We were so thankful that they did their job so effortlessly.
Please pass this information on to whomever it is that is their boss. You may give them my email address in case they want more information. I am a believer if people work hard and do a good job, someone should say something!
Thank you again for all that you did, we are forever grateful!
Sincerely,

I am very appreciate you did all the arrange for us. I am really enjoy this trip.
Tell you the true when I first signed up and sent all money to your company. I am very worry because I don't know anything about your company only found that from website. But I think if God let me found your company from the website should trust. When I arrived in Bejing and we saw our local guide we are so happy and I feel very comfortable. Sinba and the entire local guide did a good job. They let us have a chance try all the good food and always make sure what we want. I remember I ask our Guilin tour guide Charles why the hotel did not have Guilin rice noodle with soup for breakfast at this time and I remember last year I stay at the same hotel they do have that. Charles go to find out then tell me if I like this kind of noodle and I can go down to the first floor they do have in that restaurant. I am so happy because I am really like the Guilin rice noodle.

Dear Maggie:
We are now at home in Canada and have many pleasant memories of our trip to China. We enjoyed our experience in China and found the people to be very friendly. Our tour guide, Sophia and driver, Mr. Woo, were very kind and friendly to us. Sophia was very knowledgeable of the history and culture of China and taught us much about China's past and present. We enjoyed seeing the historical sights of Beijing. Probably our most memorable day was our visit to the Hutongs by rickshaw and lunch in the local families home. They were most hospitable.
We were pleased with the service we received from China Odyssey Tours, from our first enquiries to our ride to the airport. We received prompt communication and courteous service. I will definitely recommend China Odyssey Tours to anyone who would be traveling to China in the future.
