Dear Linda:

I have now returned from my two week visit to China and can would like to thank you for all of the work you did arranging my trip to Chongqing and the Yangtze River Trip.

All of your plans, reservations, guides, travel and hotels worked very well. The times and schedules were very convenient. The drivers and guides in Chongqing and Yichang were very helpful, knowledgeable and the guides spoke excellent English. Their vehicles were large, clean and comfortable. They were always punctual and delivered us to our destination well on schedule.

The Yangtze River Cruise on President No.1 was quite nice, despite the disappointment of having our reserved Balcony Room downgraded to non-balcony. The cruise ship was in good condition, the standard room not too small to be comfortable and the public rooms were big and nicely furnished. The dining room was very nice and the food very good and plentiful. The staff of President No. 1 was very friendly and helpful and many spoke excellent English. The entertainment each night by the crew included many regional folk dances with authentic costumes and was very well done. Everyone aboard enjoyed the dances very much.

Thank you for trying so hard to accommodate us after the President Cruises changed our reservations. I know that you did everything possible and there was no way to rectify the problem as it was unforeseen and entirely outside of anyone's control. I appreciate that you contacted us immediately when you were informed of the change by President Cruises and that you were available at all time on your cell phone. Your follow up with me was also appreciated. We did learn that the Officers of President Cruises and CITS booked about 10 rooms at the last minute and moved at least 15 people out of balcony rooms that they had reserved and paid for so I understand why you were not able to rectify the situation.

Susan and I were overall very pleased with your services and all of the plans that you made for us and we have already recommended you and China Odyssey Tours to many flight attendants with United Airlines. We are writing your contact information and our recommendation for your services in the China Travel Information newsletter that we share with United Airlines Flight Crew for Beijing and Shanghai. You may be contacted by some of our colleagues who say they were referred by Sam and Patty.
