Great Wall

Hello Sophie,

Sorry for the long silent, but I was really busy and not at my office.

Our trip was wonderful. Everything was perfect and like I expected. We enjoyed our hotel in Beijing, although it was perhaps not easy for our driver to drive the car in that hutong. But he managed it perfectly.

We were very happy in Datong too. Our guide, Peach, was very kind with my daughter and was always careful for our happiness.

We enjoyed very much our trip in Guilin and Yangshou. Teresa, our guide, did the maximum to find us bicycles and a map of the country.

We thought that we would see terrace rice fields in the neighbourhood of Yangshou. We did not know that we had to go to Longshen for that. So we were a bit disappointed. I would have added one day if I had known. I think you could suggest it to your further clients.

No problems at all in Shanghai. We found it a very big and busy city. Our driver have had some problems to find Xitang, but we arrived and we found the city very beautiful.

We were just a bit disappointed of our guide in Xian. We had the impression that she was borrowed by her job. But we must say that she knows her job quite well and was able to answer our questions by adding lots of interesting details.

If we have the opportunity to visit the district of Yunnan, we will surely come to your agency.

Dearest Maggie,

firstly, I would like to give our deepest condolences for the dreadful Earth Quake, we feel deeply saddened for all the Chinese people lost and affected by it, everytime I watch the news on TV I cry for China, you are truly marvellous people, with a wonderful culture, we loved every moment we were in China, and to have this Earth Quake happen has made it all seem as if we have personally lost someone near to us.

Maggie I would like to thank you for the amazing trip you organised for my family, we will never forget the wonderful sights we saw, the incredible Tour Guides, they were all extremely helpful and kind, we were extremely impressed with all their knowledge, we did not have to worry about anything, you made sure everything was covered, right down to locating Charlie lost bag on the airplane and her soft toy she left behind at one of the Hotels we stayed at, I have not stopped praising you and your Company.

Please do keep in touch Maggie, and if there is anything you feel we can do to assist the plight of the Earth Quake victims please do let us know.

Thank you.
With kindest regards,
Dawn, Jill, Emily and Charlie from Britain and Australian

Tiananmen Square.

Hello Everyone...

Once again, I am being lazy and sending out a mass mailing of pictures from Steve, Heather and my trip to China. We had a great time and the guides were wonderful! Anyone interested in a tour of China should contact Louisa at China Odyssey tours...they did a great job arranging our trip and everything turned out really good. (and I'm not even being paid to say that!!)

Several people asked for pictures, but if you aren't one of those, feel free to hit the delete button!! I'm sorry if I back up your e-mail program! The pictures should be pretty self explanatory, but if you have any questions, feel free to e-mail me. (I don't hear from anyone much here in Korea anyway!)

Take it easy!

Hi Leo,

Just writing to thank you for the fantastic time I spent in China, it was good to meet with you in Guilin and thanks again for dinner, it was nice to put a face to the name.

I hope I filled your form in to your satisfaction..

I was really happy with all aspects of my holiday. I couldn't pick a fault in any of the plans or arrangements or execution of them. All the guides were well prepared, punctual, courteous and helpful (quick thank you to Andy in Shanghai for going out his way to get me a plug adaptor that I callously forgot to bring), and a special mention to Ellie in who made my time Xi'an the highlight of my trip. I am now seriously considering visiting China again, keep up the good work guys!

Please find some attached photos for the customer pages, they are resized versions(smaller) if you want higher def versions of any of them for other parts of your site please just ask. I have missed out any of the great wall, the big buddha statue on lantau island and Macau, If you like I will send more/some in a future mail.

PS For the ladies in your office I've also attached a couple pictures of me and my brother in a 'kilt' at his wedding.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you

Thanks and
Best Regards

Hi Louisa,

In fact, I've alerady recommended you to several people, also friends and colleagues here in Hong Kong, so you may get even more business. We think you did an excellent job for us, so it's no problem at all for me to recommend you.

Did you get the evaluation forms we sent to you? My wife did it, but I hope that's been sorted. All the best wishes,

The children were a source of delight to passers by, especially my granddaughter, Casey, with her blonde hair.

G'day Louisa

Thanks for your e-mail. I was about to write to you and tell you about my experiences. I did know who you were when we spoke on the phone, I'm sorry if you got the impression that I did not.

Anyway, I would like to express my appreciation for your organising of our trip. Everything went off as planned and we were extremely happy with the tour destinations, including the unexpected visits to a number of factories.

Your tour guides were excellent. Both Sandy in Xian and Kelly in Beijing were friendly, knowledgeable and had a good command of English so we lost nothing in the translation. I felt that without those two wonderful young ladies the sights would not have been as enjoyable as they were.

The drivers were great and how they managed to navigate through the traffic was a source of amazement.

As to the tour itself, all I can say is that it was wonderful. I have fallen in love with China and now must think about visiting other places in your country in the future.

I've still got to finalise my pictures and download them to my computer and when I have done so I will send you a couple.

Cheers
