Special Notes

  • During most time of the year, Beijing is dry. But in summer, when the weather becomes hot, it rains a lot. Sandstorms normally attack Beijing in spring.
  • The Beijing Capital International Airport is quite large. If you can't find your tour guide upon arrival, please wait patiently or call your personal Travel Consultant at China Odyssey Tours or the local tour service's office directly.
  • In Beijing, it can be difficult sometimes to park outside restaurants and you may need to walk a short distanc.

The evening we went to a Peking Duck Dinner, lots of sumptuous dishes cumulating with a chef carving a duck at our table, a truly memorable occasion. Then sadly it was time to bid a farewell as our flight was that evening.

How to book tours in Beijing

Booking Notes

  • During China's Golden Week Holiday (the first week of Oct.), many Chinese domestic tourists will flock to the capital city and prices for hotel rooms will rise. Visitors wishing to visit Beijing during the holiday and need to book accommodation in advance. China Odyssey Tours strongly recommends to book your Beijing tour in advance as well.
  • If you plan to climb the Badaling Great Wall, you can visit the Sacred Road and Ding Tomb en route. If you want to enjoy the sightseeing of Mutianyu Great Wall, you can not visit the Sacred Road and Ding Tomb on the same day.
