Have a cup of tea at the Teahouse in Chengdu city, which is part of the people 's life in Chengdu. In the teahouse, local people spend countless hours each day kicking back in its tranquil atmosphere discussing current affairs, playing mahjong, ect.

It's best to visit the Giant Panda Breeding Research Base in the morning, feeding is around 9.30am and soon thereafter the pandas return to their other favourite pastime - sleeping. And if you visit in autumn, you will find many baby pandas there. :)

The heart of Yang Shuo is its cobble stoned "West Street" ( Xijie ), but mostly "locals" just call it "Western" street. Do yourself a favour and try Yangshuo's most famous culinary delights of "Li Jiang Beer Fish", which cooked in beer and spices.

The Yunyan Pagoda was built in the second year of the Jianlong region period of the Song Dynasty ( 961 ). As it leans towards the northwest, it is known as the "Leaning Tower of Pisa" in the East, being one of the symbols of Suzhou.
