We had a great time in China. The guide from Chengdu even managed to organise for me (Jan) to hold a panda. A definite highlight of my trip.

We both thoriughly enjoyed a trip to the Stone Forest that we organised ourselves. What an amazing place it was. The Ancient city in Lijiang was also a wonderful place to visit !

And speaking of work, you better not move to Lijiang because there, the women do most of the work. According toSusan, or local guide, the men's job is to think, do art, play Majong, and drink beer. The women do everything else. A great place to be a man, I think.
