  1. What is the weather like on Yangtze River? And what is the best season to visit the Three Gorges?

    The Yangtze River is situated in the subtropics. This area features strong winds, and high humidity. The average temperature is 30C (90F) in July and 10C (50F) in January. In summer, dramatic thunderstorms and heavy rains often raise the water levels between July and September. Winter is short and very cold. Spring and autumn are the best seasons for taking a cruise.

  2. Will I have the services of your private tour guide while on board?

    Your private tour guide will not accompany you on the cruise. All onboard activities and shore excursions will be managed by the cruise company.

  3. Are there any extra fees onboard ship?

    There are some onboard services that your tour package does not cover, such as alcoholic beverages, laundry, hairdressing, and massage.

  4. What is your onboard smoking policy?

    All ships will have designated smoking and non-smoking areas. Smoking is usually permitted only on the observation deck. You can ask your tour guide onboard ship for more information.

  5. Can we take Children with us on the cruise?　

    Of course you can. We feel that a visit to China is a wonderful chance for children to explore the world. Each cruise ship provides baby and child strollers and chairs, child care, and a child's playroom. You can share a cabin with your children because there is usually enough room in your cabin to add a child's sized bed. With the addition of a child's bed extra charges will apply.

  6. Can pets be brought onboard ship?
    Unfortunately pets are not allowed onboard. You will need to arrange for someone to take care of your pets before your cruise.

  7. How did I tip on Yangtze Cruise Section?

    If you wish to tip any staff member who has provided a special service for you may do so at your own discretion. C.O.T. suggests $40 to US $60 /per guest as tips for Yangtze Cruise Section.

  8. How many Cruises in American Victoria Lines? How about the Cruise line?

    There are 6 vessels in the Victoria Cruise's fleet: Victoria Empress, Victoria Katarina, Victoria Prince, Victoria Queen, Victoria Rose, Victoria Star. The newest ship is the Victoria Katarina. All of the ships have been recently refurnished to make you trip more comfortable and enjoyable.

  9. Are all the Cruises from Chongqing to Yichang dock and Yichang to Chongqing dock?

    Most Cruises will be from Chongqing to Yichang (Downstream) or Yichang to Chongqing (upstream). There are two exceptions: The Cruise-China Regal has a cruise from Chongqing to Wuhan or Wuhan to Chongqing and the American Victorian Prince cruises from Chongqing to Shanghai, or Shanghai to Chongqing.
