Dear Manager ,

We designed our own itinerary for 8 family members ranging in age from 28 to 70. We sent it out to 5 tour companies. Although not the cheapest, we selected China Odyssey because Sinba was so responsive to our requests and seemed to sense what we were after as a group. The result was a wonderful experience none of us will forget.

We enjoyed all aspects of the trip through China: the sights, the people, the food, the hotels and of course our guides. All 8 of us thought we had good value for the price.

Sinba quickly got back to me with an answer or advice. Since we were travelling in early spring we really appreciated his travel information when it came to specific cities, climate and clothing.

Lijiang and Tibet were our highlights, followed closely by Xian and Beijing. We are very interested in history and cultural differences and these locations were fascinating.

Our lunches were always a treat. The guides picked wonderful restaurants. Breakfasts were "hit and miss" but it is a challenge to prepare western breakfasts in all Chinese cities.

Hello Sinba,

We have now returned to New Zealand and I wanted to let you know how much we have enjoyed our visit to your country and in particular, the tour you organised for us.

I think I told you that my wife and I have been to China several times before, but this time we have come away with some really great memories. Your country has progressed so much in the past decade and is a great tourist destination.

As for the tour you organised for us, it went very smoothly, we had very good and knowledgeable guides, fine accommodation and you certainly selected some wonderful sites for us to visit. We especially enjoyed the spectacle of the Yellow Mountains (Mount Huangshan)!

I have one suggestion for your Company for the future. We were asked by each guide to complete a questionaire about them and their performance. While I agree this is a very good idea, I was not very happy returning the completed form to the individual concerned. Perhaps the questionaire could be placed in a sealed envelope on completion for him/her to return to their boss.

Anyway Sinba, thank you again so much. It is a pity that we have not been able to communicate with you directly, but we have appreciated all you have done.

Wow, we are at the Great Wall.

We have returned from a very memorable trip in China and wish to say to you that your arrangements in every way were exceptional.

Thanks to you we feel that we have seen many wonderful things and have a greater understanding of China and its people. We were very impressed with the great engineering feats of the Yangtze River (Changjiang River)and the museums of Xian.

All of your arrangements were without fault. The drivers and guides very competant and helpful, the hotels comfortable and the cruise wonderful.The company upgraded us to a junior suite and we are sure this was as a result of your good reputation. We may visit you again for EXPO in Shanghai!

How are you? Please forgive the lateness of this "THANK YOU!" George, Dale, Rita, and I had the most wonderful trip in your country. We all agree that there was not a single thing about the trip we would have changed, except we did not get the chance to meet you and your girlfriend, due to the delayed flight from Shanghai.

Our guides were simply wonderful. We always knew that there would be someone waiting for us at the airport, no matter what time of day or night and no matter what type of weather! Our drivers were amazing...getting in and out of traffic and to our destinations in most interesting ways! We have the highest regard for you and your colleagues at China Odyssey Tours. Please know that I would be most happy to serve as a reference, should that be useful to you.

Also, I wanted to let you know about all of the amazing things that our news broadcasters and our friends and relatives are saying about the Opening Ceremony of Beijing Olympic Games. The broadcasters in the USA are using words like "stunning", "magnificent", and "extraordinary" to describe the Opening Ceremony. I was thrilled that Americans were getting to see a little bit of China's history, culture, and amazing technological progress as part of the ceremony. I am sure you must be very proud of your country. China should be proud of the exceptional picture it has presented on the world stage.

Thank you again for working so hard to be sure that our trip was everything that we wanted it to be...especially the many opportunities to interact with the Chinese people.

I am very appreciate you did all the arrange for us. I really enjoy this trip.

Tell you the truth, when I first signed up and sent all money to your company. I am very worry because I don't know anything about your company only found that from website. But I think if God let me found your company from the website should trust. When I arrived in Bejing and we saw our local guide we are so happy and I feel very comfortable. Sinba and the entire local guide did a good job. They let us have a chance try all the good food and always make sure what we want. I remember I ask our Guilin tour guide Charles why the hotel did not have Guilin Rice Noodle with soup for breakfast at this time and I remember last year I stay at the same hotel they do have that. Charles go to find out then tell me if I like this kind of noodle and I can go down to the first floor they do have in that restaurant. I am so happy because I am really like the Guilin rice noodle.

I'll start out by saying this: the trip was even better than I hoped it would be. Starting with the excellent guides and drivers, we had a remarkable experience from start to finish. I would recommend your company and our itinerary to anyone who had the remotest interest in going to China. It was an experience of a lifetime. Thank you for everything.

PS – while all of our guides were wonderful, we were especially lucky to have Li in Guilin, whose sense of humor and inexhaustible energy were an absolute pleasure, and added tremendously to our enjoyment of the trip.

Hi Sinba

Yes, we really enjoyed China, what an experience! It was amazing to see all the historical sites that we have seen so many times on TV and in pictures.

The efficient organisation of China Odyssey Tours is a credit to all the staff. We were always met at the airport on time by the travel guides and the knowledge and friendliness of the guides and drivers was excellent.

I do have to say Sinba, we had a great time, China has really opened my eyes and I would definitely recommend China Odyssey Tours to anyone thinking of travelling to China.

Thank you for your email, my apologies for not writing sooner. Yes, we have arrived home safely and now have settled back home.

Charles and I had a wonderful time in China, of course our highlight was to see our son in Shenzhen; however, the tour that you had arranged for us was just perfect. W e were both very pleased with our tour guides in Beijing Xian and Guilin; the drivers were very polite and obliging in every way while Jack Harry and Sharon our tour guides in all 3 places were full of knowledge regarding the history and the sites, they did every thing in their power to make our trip a success that it was I still have to email photos to you all.

Thanks for your organisation, we have had a wonderful experience in a country where we had never been and never expected to go. I can tell you that this will not be the last time that we will visit China and when the time comes for us to visit again you can rest assured that I will call you at China Odyssey Tours to organise another memorable tour for us,

Hi Sinba,

We are now back home after having the most wonderful time in China.

We were very impressed with all our travel arrangements and we had no problems at all during our three week tour. There was always someone waiting to meet us at airports or railway stations and all the guides were very helpful and good company to be with. We especially enjoyed our time with Libby at Huangshan, as she spoke excellent english and gave us a real insight into chinese culture and history. Toby in Shanghai kindly helped us with our shopping one evening and even presented us with a small picture that he had painted when we left.

We would be happy to recommend China Odyssey Tours to other people travelling to China and would certainly use your services again if we make a return trip.

Thank you once again for organising such an interesting tour for us, the whole service was excellent and we look forward to using the company again when we next go to China.

I am writing to express my gratitude to your staff for making my family's trip in Shanghai a memorable one. Firstly, I would like to thank Mr. Sinba Guang for his very caring attitude and prompt response to my needs and requests.

I was also very weary of ending up in an uncomfortable hotel but I must say that Ocean Hotel was quite satisfactory. Although a little of age, the hotel was generally clean and our stay was pleasant. The buffet breakfast was good especailly the lean bacon! There was plenty to eat for the lunches and dinners, although we thought the food was a little more greasy.

Maybe I'll visit it in my next trip. I have no complaints about China Odyssey Tours and in fact, I am going to recommend your services to all my friends and family members. Honestly, I was a little worried about paying ahead of time because I was doubtful about how China Odyssey Tours would conduct its business. I am so glad that we took China Odyssey Tours as you have conducted your business in a very professional way. My special thanks to Sinba who was obviously trying to make my trip in Shanghai an enjoyable one when he learned that I have had a horrible tour in Bangkok before. Yes, China Odyssey Tours may use my comments for your marketing and publicity. I will be pleased to talk to any of your potential customers or journalist. Thanks for the message. Yes, we are very satisfied about the China Tour and may be inclined to use your services in the future if we do return to China, as I hope we will.

Everything worked very well. I have now seen that American Express was used instead of the Visa Card for the payment. I am sorry not have solved the problem before we were in China. Maybe, also, the transportation between the Chongqing airport and the cruiser and also to Yichang airport could have been organized involving less people. Although I mentioned the availability of time in both cities, especially in the first one, we did not advance in the direction of organizing anything there. The information we had from the guidebooks was not as interesting as in other places and we decided to use in a different way the available time in both sites.

Guilin and the help of the guide there, Violet, is especially worthwhile mentioning. The exceptional scenery in Gulin together with your location there may explain the reasons behind this success.

If you need to involve us in recommending your services to other potential customers, do not hesitate in doing so.
