China Odyssey Tours Customers We had a very positive and fantastic experience touring China with China Odyssey Tours.
Our guides/drivers were very knowledgeable, punctual, patient, hard working and flexible. We liked most the flexibility we had (as opposed to touring with a large group). At very short notice we were able to change plans or even while on the road, we could make a stop or a detour if something interested us.
Our detour from the itinerary to visit the Great Mosque in Xian and The Dragon's Backbone Rice Terraces in Longseng was definitely the highpoints of the trip.

Lisa and I returned home to Beijing, last night and I am at work today. I have not had access to email since the 30th of April, when I commenced leave.

Good to hear from you. We really had a great time in China. First of all, I would like to thank 3 tour guides ( Hawk, Winnie, and Lina), 3 drivers ( I don't exact recall their names), and special thanks go out to you,Vera, who arranged this trip as smooth as possible. Secondly, we love to visit China, and we don't believe we would ever forget this trip experience; in fact, we even consider to re-visit China again in 2008 to catch Olympics game,  take Yangze River Cruise, and visit to Hongkong. Of course, we will definitely be happy to join with China Odyssey tour again. Thirdly, the entire trip was flawless; you guys are INCREDIBLE. I would recommend my friends here in the States to visit China with China Odyssey Tour.

I know Elliott wrote to you today, but I wanted to write to say a big THANK YOU for the wonderful time we had in China. We enjoyed every minute of it and we have come back with amazing memories of our month in your country.

We will recommend your company to any of our friends who might want to visit China, and you can certainly recommend us to anyone who wants to know about your company. They can write to us or call us up anytime.

Everything was very well organized, and all the guides except one of them, were wonderful. We loved Jessie in Guillin, David in Lijiang, Jane in Chengdu and Jouzhaigou, and the guide in Dali was also excellent. All the drivers were good, especially Fong who drove us from Dali to Lijiang, and all the way to the first bend of the Yangze.

The arrangement you set up for me worked out very well. Everything from hotel, timing, transport and guiding worked very smoothly. In particular I was very pleased with the local guide - Ms Libby, who appeared to be very knowlegdable about the mountain and the region. She had an exellent command of the english language and had a nice personality.
I was very much impressed by the Yellow Mountain area - what was there from nature's hand and what you have been able to make out of it. I saw the canyon being fille with fog and the beautiful sight of the mountain peaks above the clouds - a fantastic view.

Dear Vera,
I have faxed "Our Feedback" form to China Odyssey but just wanted to email you personally and thank you for organizing our tour for us. Dealing wiht a travel agent within the country you are visiting is certainly the way to go and all the sights we visited and the hotels we stayed in were excellent. Everything ran like clockwork, our guide always at the appropriate airport to greet us and we were very impressed with the friendliness of all the guides and drivers. We especially must mention "Fai" in Guilin, "Winnie" in Xi-an and "Suzanne" in Beijing. It was very nice to actually meet you to.
The drivers I must mention because they seem to drive very well in the chaotic traffic. I guess they are very used to these conditions and even though there were times when we were all a bit nervous, we had the utmost confidence in them.
We all had a wonderful holiday in your country. We loved so many aspects of China, the history and ancient sites were amazing and the Three Gorges Dam project, simply mind-boggling.
Thank you again Vera, although our tour was very busy, the few days on the Yangtze cruise and then our four days in Hong Kong at the end gave us some time to relax. Bye for now and thanks,

I was about to write to you when I received your E-mail. Well, what can we say, a fantastic trip supported by a fantastic team, it was magnificent.

The victoria Anna had a wonderful atmosphere and was everything we could have wished for, especially the crew who popped up in the most unlikely places doing different jobs and imagine our surprise when on top of all that they appeared on stage in the various floor shows in the evening, they are truly talented and a joy to sail with.

The Three Gorges of the Yangtze River were as spectacular as we imagined they would be and more.

All this would not have been possible without your help and that of your very attentive team who met and organised our travel arrangements which were seamless.

We shall not hesitate to tell all our colleagues about you and this trip when we retell our tales of the Yangtze, well done and a huge thankyou for making this very very special anniversary trip for suzze and me so special.

Ms. Sophie:

I, too, had my reservation about their services, especially when I was going to wire so much money to them. And I only found out about them through the internet as well. Things that were going through my mind was, are they a legitimate agency? Do I trust them? But those fears were unfounded once I saw Sophie at the Beijing airport at 3 a.m. in the morning. All in all, everyone in my group enjoyed their experiences and were glad that Sophie was always there translating and solving problems for them. In some sense she became an integral part of our group and not just a guide. She became a friend.

Ms. Sophie Lu was very professional and made sure the needs of her clients were addressed. She was friendly and flexible and represented China Odyssey well. She accompanied her clients beyond working hours to make sure they are safe and have access to information. The safety and learning experience of her clients was very important to Ms. Lu. we are all back to the State doing fine, just that the day and night still mixed up. As of today things are back to normal. I do sincerely enjoy the trip. You are a very professional tour leader and thank you so much for coming along with us. You companionship is a big commitment. We could not go through the tour without you especially when we change flights. Your smile is what makes people happy so there is nothing wrong with that. Sensitivity is that you have care and love in you, so I glad to see that you have that too. I hope you enjoy us as much as we enjoy being with you. This is a memory that we all will not forget. If there is a next time, I hope you come along.

The food were wonderful, I lost 5 pounds. I believe if I eat healthier foods, I probably lose more weights. Wish that you feel well and take care.

I have such sweet memories of our trip to China, for which you are greatly responsible...helping us with translation was so helpful and making all our arrangements flow so smoothly was more than we could have hoped for.

I hope you are all well.  We had a wonderful vacation arranged and accompanied by you over our Christmas and New Year vacation.  All of us were impressed with China in many different ways.  The history, scenery, economic development were all on massively impressive scale.  We were struck by and friendliness of the all the people we met.  Opri has announced that she would like to live in China and I hope one day both Risto and Opri will be able to find time to study in China at some point in their education.

We are now back from our holiday, and need to tell you we had such a nice time in China. So sorry that we missed you in Guilin. We had such a lovely time there and we both feel that it was one of the nicest places we have ever visited. We spent alot of time walking around as there were so many lovely places in guilin to see. Unfortunately time went by far too quickly.

We spent three days in Guilin then went up the Li River to Yangshuo we spent Christmas there is is also very beautiful and we hope one day to travel back to both Guilin and Yangshuo. It was very cold for us as where we live in South Africa it is warm most of the year. We left Yangshuo and went to Nanning before catching a bus through to vietnam. 

Our experience in China was amazing and we were so impressed with the clean and beautifully kept cities, the transport systems and the people. We really hope to do a trip in China again because there is still so much that we need to see in China.

We enjoyed everything about it: the ship, the people, the excursions, the landscape, the food...everything! The tour in Chongqing was also super nice and worked out excellent! Our trip was absolutely wonderful and I would happily recommend your services to anyone interested in seeing the real China. I am so grateful to have seen so much of what China is like today and I'm glad we went when we did. I think being one of the few Westerners everywhere we went was a real benefit. And guess what, I've never been a very adventuresome eater but in China I learned to eat and enjoy a lot of new dishes. I would never have tried them here, but I had no choice there, and I'm really glad now.  

Sally and I would love to host you anytime you want to come to America. We could definitely show you the sights around Oregon and even some in Washington and California. I know you would enjoy it.
