Our trip was fantastic ... we found the accommodations, guides, and tours to be even better than anticipated.

Local tour guides and drivers were all reliable and punctual, and almost all were very flexible about making some changes to the itinerary as we went along so that we could see a few extra things as long as we paid admission for these additional sites. Guides made excellent recommendations for restaurants, and went out of their way to help us have a terrific experience in China.

I would highly recommend your company and would certainly contact you again if I planned another trip to China. Thanks again for all your work making this trip a success!

I knew Miss Sophie Lu, the tour consultant, two years ago, when i ordered a tour with China Odissey Tours. She was fantastic then with the tour arrangements and she had lots of patience with us and beeing very fast, kind and warm. The family and I wish to thank you for arranging an amazing tour of China. We came back home with wonderful memories and interesting stories to tell. We will not soon forget Beijing-the Great Wall, the Forbidden City, the Summer Palace, the Scared Way, the Temple of Heaven; Xi'an-the Terracotta Warriors and the City Wall; Guilin and its limestone hills and caverns and the shopping places in Hong Kong.

The English speaking tour guides in each city were just terrific. They were informative, very likable, helpful and friendly. All were very helpful in taking our pictures of the entire family. We came back with some very good pictures and lots of them.

The weather was very hot in Beijing, warm in Xi'an, rainy in Guilin and hot and humid in Hong Kong. It added to the uniqueness of China adventure and we survived.

Here's a T-shirt that may interest you and we hope you will enjoy. We enjoyed our visit to the office and face-to-face meeting. It brought closure to the entire tour after having communicating all the weeks leading up to the trip.

I was part of David Taylor's group visiting China over the last two and a half weeks and I should just like to let you know how pleased we were to visit your country. Our whole China experience was made so much easier and more enjoyable though through the efforts of yourself and the China Odyssey team. Thank you to all of you.

On every occaision we were met by our guides on time and in a friendly and helpful manner. They organised our itinery in an efficient way and where time permitted made useful suggestions for things we had not thought of because we did not have their local knowledge eg. the evening boat trip round Guilin organised by Julie. Our guide in Chongquing was particularly helpful in filling our day before boarding the river cruise ship. In Xian our guide seemed not only knowledgeable about the Terracotta Warriors but about Chinese history in general and was very happy to share his interest in his excellent English. His driver was also very helpful in his care and consideration for our safety and comfort.

Thank you for arranging such a wonderful tour for my family. We had a great time throughout the tour visiting the various places in China.

A couple things we liked about this particular tour were that all the tour guides spoke English as well as Mandarin, the buses that took us from place to place were air conditioned, and the hotel in Xian was superb. The hotel had great service and the breakfast was fantastic. The place where we had the most fun was Xian because the tour was interesting and the tour guide was flexible and easy to talk to since it was a private tour with just my family ...

Thank you so much for your excellent support before/ during our stay at Hangzhou.

Maggie, I guess you already had a report that we COULD experience the wonderful total eclipse at Hangzhou!! It was really a kind of miracle, since we knew that the weather was so bad on 22nd, and actually many many peopled missed the eclipse because of the weather.

Mr.Tong was really helpful and done a great, great job for us.

I could not decide where to go, until the very last moment because of the weather, but we had a good discussion in the morning and eventually we have decided to go where you initially planned for us.

Besides, you may have known that I had many many personal request for our private tour.

Mr. Tong had responsed prefectly to our requests (dining, shopping etc.).

On behalf of my family, I express our maximum gratitude.

Hello Reinself,

I would recommend in the future that your guides plan to get to the park in time to get the second to last bus to the cable car, so that if something like this goes wrong again they will still get there in time for the last cable car. At the time of course it turned out to be a problem as it was a very long walk and became cold and dark and the path covered with snow and very slippery, but afterwards it certainly makes an exciting story to tell! But it would be a problem for other visitors if they could not make the long climb.

We are still sifting through our many pictures to put together a slide show of the best pictures and once we have done that we will certainly send you a copy.

Thank you once again for planning a wonderful vacation in China for us, certainly a trip to remember for a lifetime.

We`re very satisfied with chinaoddissey. When you book in advance with a company at the other side of the world you get off the plane wondering if there really is a guide to pick you up and luckily every time the guides and drivers were there for us (sometimes having waited a long time because of plane delays). The program was fine just as we planned and fortunately we were not obliged to shop at each sight and the guides were all willing to flex the schedules bit if requested and possible. All in all we can warmly recomend this travel agency to anyone going to China.

We absolutely loved the trip and have been telling all our friends they have to visit China. Of course, we recommend they use you and your company. I can't think of anything I would have changed. The guides were so helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and flexible. We love to travel and we have to say this was the best trip yet. You had everything covered - the hotels were great and the food delicious. Ted was so impressed with how you responded so quickly to every message. Let's start from thanks for your well done planning of our tour in China. We had a very good feeling working with you from the beggining and this feeling we still have. It was the first time we‘ve tried the foreign travel agency and we are satisfied very much.

And It was a nice experience to visit so many places we did. We saw a lot of interesting and beautiful things and whole tour was excellent. We‘ve been traveling Beijing, Xian, Lhasa, Chengdu, Yangtze river, Shanghai. All tour guides and drivers were good and helpful. We thank to all of them.

The tour has changed our vision on China. Now we know China like a country of the strong economy doing a lot on the country development and the country of nice friendly multinational people.

Nowhere we‘ve seen so many new building sites like in China.
Our tour arrangements were good. We‘ve seen a many temples, palaces and monasteries. All places we‘ve seen are unforgetable. We will keep the impressions of The Great Wall, Terracotta Wariors, Potala Palace in our memories forever. The Panda base is the place you want to come back.

We‘ll never forget the feeling of the walking on the glass floor of TV tower in Shanghai.
Almost all hotels were clean, hospitable and located in right places, except Lhasa. The Tibet hotel isn‘t equal to others and you could change that one for your future visitors. The hotel could be somewhere in the beautiful downtown Lhasa has.

I can not believe that it has been one month since we have arrived home from China. I have been busy trying to organize all my pictures in order to pass them on to others so that everyone that wasn't with us can enjoy our wonderful experience to your country. Each album is so unique of each place we visited. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday to China and as Gerry told you the trip exceeded all of his expectations of what he was expecting to see and do in your wonderful country.

The most impressive thing about your company is that you made our trip completely hassle free. There was always someone to meet us at our destination to ensure everything was taken care of and to our satisfaction. We were there a full three weeks , traveling several times within the country and I was shocked at how smooth everything went.

China Odyssey Tours is very reliable. We had a great time in Yunnan with your tour guides ( Liz. in Kunming, Linda in Lijiang) who speaks very good English. The food served was good ( after we told the guides to tell the chef not to put vinegar! ) and the weather was kind to us.

We enjoyed watching two shows---- Dynamic Yunnan and Impressions Lijiang. We find the people in China very friendly which made us feel so welcomed.

We may plan for another holiday to China next year, and we will definitely choose you, Karen, as our COT travel consultant.

From Dali to ShangriLa, we had an excellent driver. I think his name is Mr Wang. He was perfect, with excellent and safe driving skill. We felt confortable and safety with him. he was also very flexible to stop us to make some pictures. We have had other driveres in China, but this guy is the best we ever had.

So you should ask for him as much as you can for other foreigners. Also, can you please send to his boss how much we were satisfied with him. I already said this to the driver (with my chinese !), but I really want his boss to know that.

This is Ada Lichaa. I went to China with some of my family from May 1 through May 9. I arranged our tour through China Odyssey tours and I wanted to tell you how pleased we were with all the arrangements, hotels, food, transportation, attractions, and more importantly with the tour guides that met us at Beijing, Xian, and Shanghai. All three tour guides and especially Michael were wonderful! They knew the Chinese history very well and answered all questions we posed. We felt that we could identified with the tour guides and that if we return to China one day they would be our friends. The drivers were excellent too! In addition, the accomodations, transportation arrangements and tour attractions visited were all exellent! I can't wait to travel to China again and definetely will be contacting China Odyssey, and I would also recommend your agency to all my friends.

Hello Karen.

We were very happy with all the arrangments in each town. We ended up cancelling the lunches, to make it possible to have a more flexible schedule (eat later) and if possible also eat in a bit cheaper restaurants with the tour guides - something we enjoyed more than eating pre-arranged lunches on set times. Thanks to Karen it was easy to change this and we got our money refunded! Even got to met you, Karen in the office which was great :) Also the change to leave Guilin one day earlier went extremly fast and easy and made us very happy.

We were very happy with China Odyssey Tours. Mostly the prompt replies and flexibility were great for travellers like us. When there were small problems or change requests from our side, Karen took care of them immediately. Tour guides were very nice and professional (except one in Shanghai, which we changed).

We would have liked lists of places to shop or a small list of various restaurants for the places we went to. Also, if the tour guides could provide a small map of the city, that could help (although most hotels could provide this map).

I can assure you that apart from the many clothes, scarves and chopsticks we brought a load of unforgettable memories home - thanks to you :)
