Hi wanda, Thank you for the wonderful Christmas message from you and the China Odyssey tours. My husband and I want to know if you are in the picture and where are you in the picture. Thank you so much for the trip, it was very good except the train ride. But it was all good for us to meet challenges. We have so many pictures and I will send you some together with our 3 wonderful tour guides, Grace, May and Danny. We love them all and miss them too. The only regret we had was to have lunch or dinner with them. We invited them to eat with us but they told us that their not allowed and we respect that. Our favorite place was Hangzhou .If we will go back to China, we will go back to Hangzhuo.Have a great day and love to hear from you again.

Thank you for your recent Christmas message. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the great service you and your company provided us on our tour this past June (2008). I was uncertain about arranging a tour over the internet but my worries soon went away as our tour got underway.

Your guides and drivers were very professional. Every arrangement had been made and the tour ran on schedule every day. The highlights of our trip included the city of Pingyao, the terracotta army in Xian, the Yangtze River trip, the terraced rice fields in Longsheng, and the Li river trip and stay in Yangshuo. The Guilin region is certainly the most beautiful area we visited due to its unusual setting in the karst (limestone) topography found in this area.

Although we toured Beijing on our own (with local friends), we need to include it on our lists of favorite places. Like most trips to foreign lands, our trip to China changed our impression of your country and people. We found the people very friendly and enjoyed the many new incredible sights and experiences. I also thought that the food was fantastic.

Thank you again for arranging our trip. If we ever get a chance to return to China we will contact China Odyssey Tours first. I have also attached some of the photos that I took during our tour. Please feel free to use them on your internet site if you like.

Just a short note to say how much we enjoyed our trip to Guilin/ yangshou. The schedule was nicely spaced and thus not demanding at all. The guide assigned us, angel, was excellent. She was not only knowledgeable but full of enthusiasm - we could not have asked for anyone better. Please forward our thanks to her for a job well done.

My family would definitely get odyssey to organize any future trips to china.

We had a great tour! The guides were fantastic.The hardest part was coming home.My favorite parts were:
- The great wall
- seeing the retirees enjoying their entertainment at the Temple of Heaven
- tea ceremony

Hello Reinself,

What a nice surprise to have this morning! That is very kind of you and your company. Please send it to Easton Court, Easton Cross, Chagford, Devon, England TQ13 8JL.

We have a lot of very good memories of our trip to China and have told many of our friends about how enjoyable it was and how well organised. Probably the highlight for both Paul and me was visiting the Great Wall, something we have both wanted to do for many years. I have attached a couple of photos for you. We were watching a TV programme called “Hidden China” the other night and saw things we would still like to see – for example the round houses in the tea-province south-west of Shanghai where 10+ families live – so we may also visit again very soon.

We have another holiday to look forward to now in January when we will be sailing in the Caribbean with some other friends. It will be nice to be in the sunshine again: after the warmth and sunshine of Guilin and Hong Kong, arriving back into England where it is quite cold and wet was a shock.

Thank you so much for your GREAT service. I was skeptical about your company at first. I just found it on the internet, and as you are aware, it could be almost anything or worse nothing real. VERY QUICKLY YOU SET MY MIND AT EASE. YOUR QUICK, PROFESSIONAL RESPONSES WERE MORE THAN ASSURING.

It was such a joy working with you. The trip was good and your following up with us during the trip was so nice and professional. We had good guides especially in Tibet and Shanghai. The vehicles were nice. The hotels were also.

Suggestions after the trip:
Avoid "tourist" type restaurants. Even the small local restaurants were MUCH better for us. The food was the weakest part of our very special trip. I would have paid more to improve in this area. (Exceptions were the breakfasts. They were VERY GOOD)

We had too many temples to visit. We would have preferred to NOT visit Special shopping stores. A visit to local shopping or other sites would have been better for us. We would have loved to have taken the train to Tibet.

None of these suggestions are your fault!!! We just did not know what we would have liked. You, Leo, were so great to work with. I would love to recommend YOU and your company to anyone. We felt treated like very special people.We will not forget you. Thanks so much
