Purpose of email to let you know we have re-done our web site of our holiday in China and would like to give Odyssey full permission to use or link to it from your Odyssey web, if desired.

Also, please could you send the web site address to the super tour guides who looked after us, as I have added a section especially for them.

Very lastly…. If your recall our friend Graham (& Sheila) had a heart attack and had to cancel his holiday. He is progressing very well and will undergo a 6 month medical check in the next two weeks. If he passes, all he wants to do is to visit China.

Hi Lousia,

I greatly enjoyed the tour. The sights were very beautiful. The hot springs at Huangshan were much better than we expected, too.

My suggestion for improvement would be for you to provide more accurate contact information for the guides. The names and phone numbers that you gave me were incorrect, so I didn't have a good way to reach them before meeting them for the first time. We left Fuyang somewhat late because the guide didn't know when he was supposed to meet us.

However, once we met up with the guides and could talk with them about schedule & expectations, everything was fine.

The bus from Huangshan to Hangzhou was not running due to (not very much) snow on the roads, so the Huangshan tour guides were very helpful in agreeing to drive us back to Hangzhou.

I was thinking of going back to China some other time with the rest of my family. How much would you charge for an itinerary similar to this one, for 4 people?

Thank you for your e-mail. We intended to write you about our feedback because we're really satisfied with the tour and we had a great time in Beijing.

Our tour guide was very nice, friendly and helpful! We planned together also some very interesting extra activities and I particularly enjoyed the visit to the silk factory.

By the way, could you give me Susan's e-mail address, please? we would like to keep in touch with her! The driver was also very kind!

Merry Christmas, Maggie!

I wanted to thank you again for all your help with us planning our trip. It was a WONDERFUL trip and we really had a great time.

Our guides were absolutely amazing, especially Stephen in Beijing. It felt as though we were on a trip with a friend rather than a stranger. We learned so much while we were in China and I think that your country will always have a special place in our hearts.

Everything was as expected, all the drivers were great and the guides and everything that we did. If we ever have a reason to go back to China, we will definitely ask for your help again.

Hi Jack,

Our trip with China Odyssey Tours in the Guilin/ Yangshuo area could not have been better. From the time I contacted them, through the entire process of planning our trip and enjoying our trip we were very satisfied. We chose one of the trips offered and then added an extra day and changed a few details to fit our preferences. Each time our travel consultant, Jack, was very helpful to make the changes I requested.

This is a beautiful area and we are so glad we spent 5 days there. It would have been difficult to see everything we had the opportunity to see without the help and experience of China Odyssey Tours and our sweet guide, Theresa, and of course our driver who drove us everywhere with great care. Dear Sophie,
Thanks for organizing our China tour, we had a great time. You have a country filled with so much history and culture, and it was great to experience a little of it.

You are was very good at responding to our questions quickly and always willing to help. At times English got a little lost in translation, but was resolved in subsequent emails.

Some of the guides had a great knowledge of the sites and history (particularly Emily in Beijing). And a couple of them took the initiative to confirm our hotel reservations and get us free room upgrades (Emily and Ivan). All guides spoke quite good English, however a few of them struggled to understand our accent which meant we were somewhat limited in what questions we could ask. One of the guides (Michael in Shanghai) was a little casual. He was more about taking us to the destinations on our itinerary. It would have been nice to hear more about the sites, the culture, the region and the history.

Generally accommodation was good. All the hotel rooms and facilities were more than adequate. The location of the hotel in Chengdu wasn’t great. We would have liked to be within walking distance of restaurants for eating out at night, and to get a feel for the culture and night life.

Had a great trip up the Yangtze River, however expected more from our tour to the three gorges dam. Unfortunately there were only 3 English speaking tourists in amongst a number of Chinese. The local guide spent the majority of the time speaking Chinese and only gave us a limited English commentary. We were referred to purchase an information book for more information.

We had A Great Time and will definitely recommend your service to our family and friends.

The trip was wonderful (although it was very cold), the guides and the drivers were nice and helpful.

Nevertheless there are 2 remarks you should know (not to blame you but just for info) :
- the hotel in Beijng should have been very nice if the beds had not been so hard;
- the restaurant that we visited after having seen the terracotta army was not nice.

We just want to thank you for the wonderful experiences in China that was made possible by China Oddessey Tours. Our trip ended on 27 November and we are back in the full swing of things.

We really enjoyed it thoroughly and want to congratulate you and all our wonderful guides and drivers on the arrangements. We were treated so well and learned so much from each of them. Special thanks to Michael in Shanghai, Fei in Guillin (Especially with the help with the bike-ride), Richard in Xi-an and Richard in Beijing. They all bent over backwards to accomodate our special needs and iternerary.

I am very sorry for the delay our reply, but we could answer in Guangzhou and when I find a moment to answer you just now.

Regarding to our visit in China, it was excellent! We trully enjoy your country and we we will visit it again soon.

In regards to the agency services, we were satisfied, besides some thing that we are not accostume. For example, in drinks, that was included just one glass of water or the drink we decide. In our country, this is not common. In regards to the Spanish english guides they were really competent.

Hoping we can visit your country soon, we said good bye!
