Highlights: This tour was designed for people who want to see Beijing's past, and witness Beijing's local culture. People on this tour will see how local people have lived and eaten for centuries in Beijing's hutongs and have dinner at a Peking Duck Restaurant. Visitor will also see how China's emperors lived at the Forbidden City, Summer Palace, and Temple of Heaven, and see the splendor in which they were buried at the Ming Tombs and the Sacred Road. There will also be a trip to the Badaling section of the Great Wall.
Day 1 Arrive Beijing
Accommodations: Jianguo Garden Hotel
Sightseeing: Hutongs
Transfer via: International Flight on your own arrangement
Upon your arrival at Beijing airport, our local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. Then you will have a Hutong tour by rickshaw.
Day 2 Beijing
Accommodations: Jianguo Garden Hotel

Sightseeing: Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven
Special Dinner: Peking Duck Dinner
Today you will first visit the historic Tiananmen Square, and then the magnificent Forbidden City. In the afternoon, you will marvel at Beijing's splendid Temple of Heaven. Enjoy a famous Peking Duck Banquet for dinner.
Day 3 Beijing
Accommodations: Jianguo Garden Hotel
Meals: B,L
Sightseeing: Sacred Road, Ding Tomb, Great Wall
Today's full-day excursion will take you to the majestic Great Wall (Badaling section), the Ding Tomb of Ming Tombs and Sacred road.
Day 4 Beijing / Departure
Accommodations: Jianguo Garden Hotel
Meals: B,L,D
Sightseeing: Summer Palace
You will have a city tour to the exquisite Summer Palace before you will be escorted to take flight to your next destination.
2 days extension to Chengde
(245km, go by train or by car)
Day +1:
In the morning, our local guide will help you transfer to the railway station for your train to Chengde. Arrive at Chengde, you will be met and escorted to the hotel. The tour this afternoon will bring you to Chengde Imperial Summer Villa.
Day +2:
Enjoy a half-day visit to Puning Temple and Putuozongcheng Temple before your train back to Beijing. Our local guide in Beijing will meet you at railway station and escort you to the hotel.
