Day 1Upon your arrival at Hong Kong, a vibrant metropolis,
our local guide will meet and escort you to your hotel.
After resting for a
while, you will head out to the famous Wong Tai Sin Temple where old beliefs
and traditions survive in this modern city, and then drop by the Jade Market to
learn about the special Chinese jade culture.
Day 2Today you will explore Hong Kong’s unique blend of
Chinese heritage and colonial influences.
First ascend to the city’s highest
point, Victoria Peak, to get a spectacular panoramic view of the whole city, and visit
the exotic floating community of Aberdeen.
Then enjoy the romantic beach at
Repulse Bay and explore the Stanley Market to find some of your favorites souvenirs.
Free in the afternoon until being transferred to the airport for your flight to
Shanghai.
Day 3On this day you will visit the Shanghai Urban Planning
Exhibition Center to witness how Shanghai became a huge cosmopolitan city from a
shabby village, and then take a stroll in the beautiful Yu Garden, a
masterpiece of China’s traditional gardens.
Outside the Garden, you will roam
through the hustling Yuyuan Market and drop by Jiangnan Silk Workshop to discover
how real silks are made from small cocoons.
Evening is free, optional to enjoy
the popular Acrobatic Show.
Day 4In the morning, you will walk down the Bund, a
lively waterfront with many ancient colonial buildings, stroll along the flourishing Nanjing Road, and then get a fantastic bird’s eye
view of Shanghai from the iconic Jinmao Tower. After the tour, you will be
escorted to the airport for the flight to Xian.
Upon arriving in Xian, one of
China’s four oldest historical capitals, you will be picked up and transferred
to your hotel. The rest of the day is free at your own leisure.
Day 5The world-famous Terracotta Warriors is your first
stop today.
Discovered by a farmer accidently in 1974, the Terra Army was regarded
as one of the most significant archaeological finds in 20th Century. You will tour
all three Pits and inspect 6,000 life-sized terra soldiers and horses in battle
formation, which is really awesome.
In the afternoon, set foot on Xian’s
Ancient City Wall, the world’s largest city walls, stop at a Jade Gallery and visit
the 1350-year-old Big Wild Goose Pagoda.
Day 6Morning sightseeing will take you to the Great
Mosque and Muslim Community to have a taste of the exotic Muslim culture. After
the tour, you will be transferred to the airport for the flight to Beijing.
Upon your arrival in Beijing, the capital of China, your local guide will
welcome you and escort you to your hotel. Balance off the day resting in your hotel
or start to explore this ancient city on your own.
Day 7After a hearty breakfast, you will wander about
the historic Tiananmen Square. Heading north and walking through Tiananmen
Gate, you will enter China’s No.1 palace complex, Forbidden City, which was the
home to 24 emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties, for 600 years.
In the afternoon, marvel at the well-known Temple of Heaven where emperors in ancient times
worshiped Heaven for a national good harvest and prosperity, follow by a drop by a Pearl Store.
Day 8A day you will never forget. You will visit
the magnificent Great Wall (Jinshanling Section).
Reputed as the 8th Wonder of the
World, the Wall is the most recognizable symbol of China, showing Chinese wisdom
and willpower in design and construction.
Jinshanling Section is the best
preserved part of the Wall, and stretches for 10 km with many original features. The
cracked rampart presents a live history book for you to trek, to gaze at and to appreciate.
Day 9You might remember the fascinating Beijing Olympic
Games. On this day you will visit the Olympic Green which was the heart of the 2008
Olympic Games and site of thirteen venues. You will have a chance to visit
the stunning Bird's Nest stadium, National Swimming Center-Water Cube and the Olympic
Village before your flight to your next destination.
