The event is totally free and will follow fair and open principles of award selection.
ENTRIES:
1. All entries must be original, and have been never won awards in other events. Participants assume all risk of lost, late, misdirected, incomplete or illegible entries. All entries submitted become the sole property of the Organizer and will not be acknowledged or returned.
2. Pictures of the entry should be of best quality, including digital original or thumbnail.
Top 20 winners need to provide original entry and each photo may not be over 2MB. We suggest the video is in 2 min and the story is between 20—500 words.
3. By submitting an entry (or accepting any prize), each participant understands and agrees that their Entry Piece and name may be posted online to company website, without further compensation or review, and will not be returned. The organizer reserves the right to crop any entry in whole or in part or request submitters to do so, in order to be viewable online. Participant further agrees to release the organizer from any and all claims that any such use by the organizer, including any commercial advertising presentation, web content or any other material subsequently produced, presented and/or prepared by or on behalf of the Organizer, infringes the participant's rights with regard to any elements, characters or ideas contained in its Entry.
AWARDS:
Awards are not redeemable for cash and must be accepted as awarded, with no substitutions, except by the Organizer, who reserves the right to substitute an award (or portion thereof) of comparable or greater value, at its sole discretion. Taxes, if any, as well as any other costs and expenses associated with award acceptance and uses not specified herein are the Winners' responsibility. All award details are at the Organizer's sole discretion.
DISQUALIFICATIONS:
Tang Dynasty Tours reserves the right to disqualify any participant's registration in the event (and void all associated entries/points, and delete all Content) or entitlement to an award if, in the sole discretion of the organizer, it determines or suspects that the participant has attempted to undermine the legitimate purpose of the event by cheating, hacking, deception, or other fraudulent, deceptive or unfair practices (including any entries generated by script, macro, robotic, programmed, or any other automated means or any other means which subvert the entry process).
EVENT OPERATION:
China Odyssey Tours and Indochina Odyssey Tours have the right to use the entries which been selected, regardless of other publication, reproduction or website use; and the final judgment and final interpretation activities. China Odyssey Tours and Indochina Odyssey Tours reserve the right in the sole discretion to cancel, modify or suspend this event at any time; if fraud, technical failures, including any network server or hardware failure, viruses, bugs, errors in programming, or any other errors or other causes corrupt the administration, security, integrity or proper operation of the event or for any other reason at the Organizer's sole discretion. In the event of cancellation, the organizer reserves the right to select the winners from among all eligible, non-suspect entries received up to time of such cancellation. In no event will the Organizer be liable for more than the stated number of awards available in the prize category in question.
WARRANTIES:
Event entries do not warrant that access to the event will be uninterrupted. The Organizer is not responsible for any problems that may arise, including but not limited to: (a) lost, interrupted, inaccessible or unavailable networks, servers, satellites, Internet Service Providers, Web sites, or other connection, availability or accessibility problems arising in connection with or over the course of the event; or (b) communications failed, jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected computer, telephone or cable transmissions or hardware or software malfunctions, failures or difficulties; or (c) failure of personal computers and/or software and hardware configurations, any technical malfunctions, failures, or difficulties, printing errors, clerical, typographical or other error in connection with the administration of the event, the processing of mail or entries, the offering or announcement of any prize or in any prize notification documents; or (d) for any other errors of any kind relating to or in connection with the event, whether human, mechanical, clerical, electronic, or technical in nature; or (e) the incorrect or inaccurate capture of information, or the failure to capture any information in connection with the event; or (f) damage to a user's system occasioned by participation in this event or downloading any information necessary to participate in this event.
DISCLOSURES:
Any attempt by an participant or other individual, to deliberately damage the website or undermine the legitimate operation of this event, including but not limited to any fraudulent claims, is a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such an attempt be made, the Organizer reserves the right to seek remedies and damages (including attorneys' fees) from any such individual, to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution. Participants engaging in any of the foregoing activities will be disqualified (and all associated entries will be void) and will forfeit any award(s) won.
DISCREPANCIES:
In the event of any conflict between these terms and conditions contained in promotion materials (including but not limited to point of sale, television, and print advertising, promotional packaging, and other promotion media), the details of the event as set forth in these terms and conditions shall prevail.
