A perfect tour organisation taken by China Odyssey Tours

We arranged and booked a private 8 day Yunnan tour (two persons) from China Odyssey Tours. The arrangement included air transport between Hong Kong and Kunming, hotels in Kunming, Dali, Lijiang and Zhongdian (Shangri-La County), private transfers between airports, hotels and scenic spots with driver and local tour guides. We booked hotels with breakfast but no other meals.

Our tour operator Annie Fang of China Odyssey Tours was very flexible in preparing the tour with us by E-mail correspondence, and she showed always quick response.

The tour organisation was perfect. Good and save transportation, experienced and friendly guides – especially in Kunming, Lijiang and Shangri-La, hotels in general quite good (the Asia Star Hotel in Dali has certainly seen better days). Breakfast may be a problem for those who expect continental breakfast.

A comment to the sights: Our highlights were Zhongdian (Bita lake before the daily tourist invasion at noon, Gedan Songzanlin Monastery) and Lijiang (Black Dragon Pool Park, Research Institute of the Naxi Dongba Culture and Jade Dragon Snow Mountain high valley). The visit to a Tibet family in Zhongdian is more of a disco character just to the liking of chinese tourists. Heqing Village & Xinhua Village on the way from Dali to Lijiang may be good for shopping fans.

Our conclusion: If you want to travel to China, we strongly recommend you to use China Odyssey Tours!
