A wonderful experience travel to China

To China Odyssey Tours and Leaticia:

The four week trip to China my wife and I organised through China Odyssey Tours was one of the best trips we have been on in many decades of overseas travel.  

Our guides were always the professionals - not only the standard history of the region but the personal and very positive observations and opinions of their beautiful country - all spoken in well trained English. And the drivers were the perfect support, never loosing their cool and always keeping their vehicles immaculate. We never found ourselves being pushed out the hotel door early in the mornings - as the tour bus groups were.

As a professional photographer looking for some special shots for my portfolio, our travel consultant Leaticia was able to accommodate all the places on my wish list within our itinerary without once having to go back on our tracks. The guides in each city were very flexible - walking us down the back streets away from the tourists, adding a half day trip to a newly discovered location, or just stopping the schedule for a couple of hours to watch children flying their kites in the park.  The scheduling of a four day Yangtze River cruise in the middle of the trip was a perfect rest from an otherwise busy trip. An unscheduled 24 hour bug in Shanghai was handled with great sympathy by all, including flowers to the hotel from Leaticia. We sent out for four quotes for this trip, two from Australian based companies and two from China based. The China Odyssey Tours quote was 40% cheaper than those from Australia without any drop in quality. We would not hesitate to recommend their services to anyone wanting a personalised quality tour.
