Details of the tour itinerary we took

Dear Reinself,

As you know, I, along with my traveling companions, have recently returned from our tour of China. We enjoyed our visits to Beijing, Xi'an, Guilin, Li River, Hong Kong and Macau. We found the country to be beautiful and the people to be very friendly and courteous. The historic sites (Great Wall, Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Terra Cotta Warrior excavations, Palaces, Tombs and many more) were awe-inspiring and educational. China's contribution to the history and development of civilization cannot be underestimated. Our trip was enhanced by the capable assistance of the private guides which you coordinated for us in each of the cities/regions that we visited.

The prupose of our trip was two-fold. Firstly, to visit our friend and daughter - Rachel - who is a volunteer teacher in Hunan Province and, secondly, to experience much of what China has to offer. We were delighted with both. Rachel met us in Beijing and I am happy to report that she is doing very well and enjoying her teaching experience in China. We look forward to her return home this Summer but know that this time of her life will forever be remembered as one of her more rewarding experiences. I want to thank you again for arranging for her care on that first night when our flight from the United States was canceled.

With the exception of one bad weather day that caused the cancellation of one of the flight from Xi'an to Guilin, the trip was without negative incident and was enjoyed by all of us.

Of course, the success of our trip was in no small way made possible by your assistance. The internal flights, guides, drivers as well as the hotel and restaurant accomodations were excellent. I appreciated all your help in securing the arrangements during the busy Chinese New Year season. I am also grateful for your very professional assistance in helping to handle any of the problems that arose both prior to and during our trip. All of the guides were knowledgeable, professional and courteous. The vehicles were comfortable and the drivers were pleasant and timely. We were happy to give all of them positive reviews. It was also very nice to have met you in Guilin. Thank you for your gifts.

I will be very happy to recommend your company to any other parties interested in traveling to China on one of your pre-arranged tours or a private tour such as ours.
