Good Memories of Huangshan Trip

HI Sophie,

Yes, we've been back home for three weeks now. I was back in Hong Kong for another 10 days after our Huangshan trip.

I have been wanting to reply you for a while. It has been on my "To Do" list for a long time. Sorry for the delay.

As I have mentioned to you, we liked our guide Jenny very much. She was very accommodating to our requests and she had a good command of the English language. She is a strong hiker and was very patient waiting for me to take photos. She even played ping-pong with us at the hotel!

Here are some photos from my collection of photos. I am sure you have seen hundreds (if not thousands) of Huangshan photos, so I show you a few here that are not the usual shots.

To give you some feedback, I think you were always very quick to respond and I appreciate that. Your calling Jenny on our first day to make sure everything was alright was a very nice touch. Everything was planned out well. The International hotel in Huangshan city was very good in terms of the amenities and a nice location by the river (the itinerary listed the hotel as the International Grand Hotel which is a bit misleading because the word "Grand" is not a part of the hotel name which is Huangshan International Hotel).

We had made a suggestion to Jenny that since the traveller would want to have a DVD/video of Huangshan as a momento, it would be a very nice gesture to your guests/customers to gift them a DVD at the end of the trip! Of course they will show it to their friends and family, which means that you may have more business!

All in all, we carry with us good memories of this trip (especially the sunrise). We hiked higher than where everybody else goes, so it wouldn't be so crowded and we can enjoy the scenery and take photos peacefully. We were up at Lion's Peak for two hours with just several people around us.
