Details of the tour itinerary we took

Dear Wanda,

Although we have been home in Australia for a month now, we have not forgotten China and the excellent time we had there. Not only have we many, many photos, but we have an endless set of stories to tell about our experiences, and the people we met.

Our cruise on the Yangzi was amazing and gave us the opportunity to have a little rest after the strenuous activities involved in other attractions in China.

From our first email to Wanda, we had nothing but prompt and helpful responses to our requests for information and suggestions.These immediate and appropriate responses, in English that was of an excellent standard, gave us confidence that we were dealing with a reputable company. A previous attempt with another company failed as the respondent failed to maintain email contact, and did not appear to understand our requests.

Once we had established contact with Wanda and begun a dialogue about our intentions in China, we enjoyed her warm greetings and sound advice.All arrangements came to fruition and there were no moments of worry on our part. China Odyssey arranged for our collection from the airport and took us safely to the boat for our Yangzi River Cruise.

The boat trip was indeed relaxing and accompanied by appropriated quantities of food and drink. Food is a cultural thing, and we were delighted with the European breakfasts the standard of the food in general, and the range of food available. The boat crew were charming, helpful and a pleasure to be around. The boat itself was clean, pleasant, and comfortable.

The side trips to Fengdu Ghost City and Shennong Stream were absolute gems, and highlights of the trip. The organization was wonderful, and the attractions well worth a visit.

Travel in China, with the help of China Odyssey Tours, was rewarding and easy. The accommodation was equal or better than anywhere in the world, the internal air services were of an excellent standard and with a modern fleet of aircraft. The airports, taxi's, trains and cities were clean and user friendly in spite of the language differences.

We had an opportunity on the cruise to speak with English speaking tourists, but on our wanderings in China we met and had fun communicating with the local Chinese people. Everywhere we went we encountered polite, friendly and charming people. I look forward to my next trip to china when I hope to see more of your extraordinary country and met more of its charming people.

I would recommend your company, and this cruise to friends and relatives, and thank you for the helpful and happy service that you have provided.

I will certainly be planning to revisit China with the help of China Odyssey Tours and look forward to exploring other parts of this wonderful country.
