Second China Trip, Great as Always

Hello, Maggie!

We are very thankful for wonderful trip to China. This was our second trip to your beautiful country. First time, we were in Beijing, Shanghai and some little cities around Shanghai.

This trip we decided to make by ourselves, with your big help, of course!

This slogan - You are not alone in China! - Really works! We felt ourselves comfortable, safe and in good hands!

In every airport we landed, there was some friendly guide waiting for us with warm smile. Excursions were interesting and food was tasty.

Best we remember, was the opportunity to make dinner in hot-pot, or hot-pan.

We were sitting and cooking for two hours!

Very exciting was ordering in Chinese local restaurants, where we wanted to eat, but we didn't understand any Chinese letters and they didn't understand us. Then we made some funny noises to order pork or beef! But finally they understood us! And the food was tasty! We met everywhere unforgettable warm and friendly people.

Cities in South China are so different from each other that you have to visit everyone from them. They are old and very beautiful. We were in Xi'an, Chengdu, Kunming, Dali, Lijang, Shangri-La and Guilin.

In Xi'an, we saw Terracotta Warriors and Ancient City Wall, in Chengdu we like great Pandas. They are so cute! We liked a teahouse, too. There was peaceful atmosphere and tasty tea!

In Kunming, there was a Stone Forest, which is really amazing! Stone Forest showed a variety of unique shapes such as mushrooms, castle, and torch - miracles the nature can present!

In Dali, there was The Three Pagodas - beautiful landscape and buildings which were survived the earthquakes. Old town is indescribable you have to see it!

Lijang has The Jade Dragon Snow Mountains - good views to see! And it was comfortable to go up by cable car! Tiger Leaping Gorge, situated between the peaks, was amazing and awesome! Of course again a part of old town....it likes fairytale.

In Shangri-La, we liked old and beautiful old town, many shops, small restaurants and cafes. Shangri-La has great snow-mountains, extremely fresh air and blue sky.

Guilin has a picturesque Li River, Reed Flute Cave - a Natural Palace of Art!
