Our Fantastic China Tour

Here we are back in Lisbon some weeks after returning from our fantastic China tour.
I'm writing to let you know we had a great time there, in a very well organized tour arranged by you, from an initial sketch made by us.
I search the web for several travel agents in China, and you sure had the best proposal, were the first to reply and made everything very pleasant for us.
Our tour itinerary included Beijing, Xi'an, Chongqing, Yangzi River Cruise, Shanghai, Guilin, Yangshuo and Guangzhou, from where we left to Hong Kong.

To be honest at the start I was a bit afraid buying the tour form the internet, and paying it via bank transfer, but it really ended up being a very good solution, since the price was very competitive and everything was perfect, even some extra tours we took arranged ate the last minute.
We had toured visits and free days in our own, so we could explore some cities.

Beijing

Our guide Michael was very thoughtful, and the hotel, although not very central, was nice and we managed to have a very good time in town. We toured the Forbidden City, SummerPalace, Temple of Heaven, The Great Wall, Ming Tombs and Sacred Road, went to see the Peking Opera and had a lunch in the Hutongs with a Chinese family.

In our free time we went to see some temples like the LamaTemple.

Xi'an

The train to Xi'an was very good, modern and confortable.

In town we had a great guide and driver, a very good hotel and we loved the city.

The Big Wild Goose Pagoda, the ShaanxiProvincialMuseum, the Terracota Warriors and the City Wall, all were very well explained to use by our guide.

Chongqing

The train here was not so good, I think we should have taken the plane, but the decision was ours, so.

Before going to the boat we decided to go to Dazu to see the statues, and it really was a good choice, since there was not that much to see in town, and we would have the all day free before going on board.

YangziRiver Cruise

The boat was very nice, and the crew very kind.

We had a pleasant time on board, we were just 4 foreigners and all the rest were Chinese, so it was a nice experience.

The land tours we very good and the spots very interesting.

Shanghai

A more European city, were we had a very good guide and driver, and a very good time.

We walked a lot on our free time so we could feel the city, an hotel very close to the subway was a very good idea.

Included in the tour we've been to ShanghaiMuseum, Yu Garden, Yuyuan Market, JadeBuddhaTemple, Oriental Pearl TV Tower and Nanjing Road.

Guilin/Yangshuo

An excellent guide here, Violet, who was really nice. A wonderful river tour to Yangshuo and a beautiful city Guilin.

Guangzhou

A very short time in town, just to see the main spots, Dr. Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, The Chen Family Temple and The Temple of Six Banyan Trees.

Hong Kong

The train tickets were arranged by COT, and we left to discover the city by ourselves.

This in resume was our great time in China, we have been recommending to all our friends in Portugal.
