China Tour We Took, Sweet Memories We Harvested

We had a wonderful trip!! Your planning and management of my family tour was impeccable. Every thing went like clockwork. There was not a single glitch or sour note in the entire trip. 

At every point on the tour, we were met by gracious smiling tour guides and skilled professional, courteous drivers who whisked us to our hotel, briefed us and checked us into our beautiful 4-star accommodations (and at the Green Lotus in Yangshuo County a 5-star hotel.)  The tour guides (Nancy in Beijing, Ivan in Xi'an, Susan in Guilin, and Jimmy in Shanghai) spoke excellent English and made us feel welcome and comfortable with their friendly and professional conduct.  They made the trip effortless for us and enriched our itinerary with their knowledge of the points of interest.

The tour guides made sure we saw all the places on our itinerary, but were flexible in accommodating changes we requested.  For example, we did not have the World 2010 Expo in Shanghai on our itinerary, but Jimmy accommodated our request spend much of a day there. He also allowed us to experience the Mag Lev train trip to the airport in Pudong which was an additional event.

I cannot thank you enough, Karen, for making this one of the most memorable occasions of my life. My sons and grandson repeatedly expressed to me their pleasure in the trip. The experience has left me with a great fondness for the people of China and a wonderful appreciation of the long history and rich culture of your nation. I must remark on the beauty of the area in Gulin, the trip to Longsheng County to see the Longji Teracced Rice Fields and the Li River Cruise.  It was the highlight of our trip in no small measure because of the attention of our tour guide, Susan. Her willingness to share so much time with us explaining the culture of the region was especially appreciated by my sons and grandson.

Thank you again, Karen. Your work and that of the tour guides and drivers reflect great credit upon China Odyssey Tours and upon the country of China. I will certainly recommend your company to anyone wishing to visit China.
