Generally speaking, there are three entrances to hike along the Longji terraced field, the Pingan Village, the Dazai Village, and the Longji Village. The best hiking itinerary is from Dazai Village to Pingan Village.

Two ways to hike:
The first way: Visitors may hike from the crossing between the No.1 and the No.2 scenic spot of Jinkeng terraced field to Pingan Village. It will take 3 to 4 hours.
During the hiking process, tourists may pass through Zhongliu Village, which has beautiful scenery and unsophisticated farmers. It is the best itinerary for the outdoor enthusiasts.
The second way: Tourists may also hike from Pingan Village to Jinkeng terraced rice field. It will take 4 to 5 hours. But, the altitude of the Jinkeng terraces is higher than Pingan Village, so we recommend the first way. During the hiking journey, tourists always go along downhill paths, which make your hiking easy.
