Dragon Palace Cave Photo Tour
Located in the western suburbs of Anshun in Guizhou Province, lies the home of the mythological Dragon King. The magnificent cave system known as the Dragon Palace Cave got its name because of its resemblance to the Dragon King's palace described in one of China's most influential novels, "Journey to the West". The cave system boasts the longest underground river in China and features a waterfall inside the cave, along with amazing stalactite and stalagmite formations. Visitors can hire small boats and cruise through the cave. They never fail to marvel at its beauty. The cave's atmosphere changes the farther visitors travel. Parts of the cave have an other-worldly feeling, while other parts feel eerie. The cave is absolutely beautiful and should not be missed by any visitor to Guizhou Province.
