Where to Stay in Hangzhou

Hangzhou, the capital of Zhejiang province, is becoming more and more important as a tourist destination. It is famous for its beautiful water scenery and amazing folk culture. Of course for visitors to Hangzhou, one of the most important parts of their trip is their accommodations. A wide range of hotels is available for visitors from China and abroad in Hangzhou.

There is a large selection of hotels ranging from three to five stars in Hangzhou. Most are located in the city's center, and some are located near some of Hangzhou's most famous and popular scenic spots.

For Hangzhou's towns, there are no star-rated hotels available. Only small hotels and guest houses can be found. Although lacking in some of the amenities of the larger hotels, these hotels and guests' houses are very clean and are family-run.
