A 4-star hotel, the Lhasa Hotel is located in the Holy Land of Lhasa with an altitude of 3,600 meters, covering an area of 70,532 meters.The hotel is near the famous Nobulinka, the Palace of the Dalai Lama. Located only 10 minutes by car to the center of Holy Town and the magical and Potala Palace. Situated approximately 95kms from the airport.
It occupies 7-floors and was recently renovated in 1999. The hotel has a range of restaurants that provide Sichuan, Western, Indian and Tibetan food. The hotel also provides a business center, foreign currency exchange, safe deposit boxes, airport pick up and drop off, gift shop, same day laundry and dry-cleaning service, clinic with doctor on call, outdoor swimming pool (seasonal), fitness center, sauna, steam bath, jacuzzi, massage, credit card service.

Guest rooms come equipped with: IDD, satellite closed-circuit TVs, refrigerators, mini-bars, oxygen pillows, and private bathrooms with hair-dryers and bathroom scales. Also available are safe deposit boxes, fresh flowers, a mending and laundry service.

Tibetan food
Located on the right side of the lobby, the Himalaya restaurant is decorated with Tibetan-style murals and has strong traditional characteristics. Here, guests can also listen to the national music while tasting Tibetan food, drinking CHANG (barley beer) and yak butter tea, and experiencing local traditional hospitality. Specialties include dried yak meat, Tibetan ginseng with corn and cheese, Tibetan deep-fried lamb sausage, caterpillar fungus in marrow bone made of pure natural raw materials.
