Hotels in some remote areas, such as Tibet, Yunnan, Jiuzhaigou in Sichuan, Guizhou and Xinjiang, are not quite the regular star hotels you come across in other parts of China.
Due to Hong Kong's limited area and expensive property prices hotels tend to be more expensive than on the mainland. The quality and amenities in Hong Kong's hotels are of the highest quality and match any found in the West.
It is highly advisable to reserve your accommodation well in advance during peak holiday seasons.
At China Odyssey Tours, hotel reservation fee include the room rate, tax and service charge to secure your booking. The fee of additional service requested - like the food, beverage and laundry service, is not included.
In China, the checkout time is normally before 2:00 p.m. The checkout during 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. will charge the half-day rent; that after 6:00 p.m. will charge the full day rent.
Read the Cancellation Policy carefully. Some reservations are non-refundable and cannot be cancelled after booking, especially during peak seasons. If the cancellation is outside of the time allotted, you may be charged for one night's stay.
