Huangshan Day-by-day Tour Itinerary

Day1

Upon your arrival at the city of Huangshan (Tunxi), our local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free at your own leisure.

Day 2 Huangshan tour

After breakfast, drive 70 kilometers ( 1 hour and 10-minute drive)to Shendu Pier and take the boat to cruise beautiful Xin'an River, and then you will visit Tangyue Memorial Archways in Shexian County. Drive back to the city of Huangshan after the tour.

Day3

After breakfast, drive 80 kilometers (1.5 hour-drive) to Huangshan Scenic Area and take cable car at Yungu Station to the top of the mountain. After check-in and lunch, you will view Brush Pen Peak, tour Begin-to-BelievePeak to see the grotesque pinetrees, Lion Peak, Xihai Grand Canyon, and enjoy the sunset glow at the Cloud Dispelling Pavilion, etc. Stay overnight at the summit.

Day4

Try to get up early in the morning to catch the magical sunrise, after breakfast, descend first by foot down the western side of the mountain, along the way you will see Flying Rock, climb over the Brightness Apex--the second highest peak on Huangshan and Turtle Peak. After all the strenuous exercise, take the cable car at Yuping Station down to the foot of the Mt.Huangshan, where our driver will meet you and help you transfer to the city of Huangshan.

Day 5

The tour today will bring you to Yixian County, 54km away from the city of Huangshan (about 1-hour drive), where you will visit two ancient villages--Hongcun and Xidi. After the tour, drive back to the city of Huangshan to visit Tunxi Ancient Street and Ink Stone Factory before your transfer to the airport for the flight to your next destination.

  • Visitors wishing to visit Huangshan during China’s Golden Week Holidays (the first week of May and October) need to book accommodation in advance. Prices for hotel rooms will rise.
