Lotus Peak
With a height of over 1,873 meters, lotus Peak is the highest peak on Huangshan Mountain. Its shape resembles a lotus blossom, giving the peak its name. The most famous resident on Lotus Peak is the Greeting Pine, an ancient pine that is very famous throughout China and can be seen in many business logos.

North Sea Scenic Zone
North Sea Scenic zone is the hub of Mt. Huangshan, where assembles most of the wonders and sceneries of Mt. Huangshan. This area is particularly famous for its upright rock formations.

Because of Huangshan's high elevations, the peaks are often higher than the clouds giving visitors the unique chance to look down at the clouds. The peaks jutting up through the clouds look like islands on the sea, giving this phenomenon its name.
