2009 China Sport Show and Sport Tourism Expo Coming Soon

11/25/2009 14:46:00

2009 China Sport Tourism Expo and China Winter Sport Show will take place from December 11th to 13th, 2009 in Harbin, capital of Heilongjiang Province, Northeastern China.

With the theme of "Ice & Snow, Health, Leisure", the two shows will be staged together in Harbin International Conference, Exhibition and Sports Center, with 1,200 booths. The exhibition halls will be divided into two sections: sporting goods section and sports tourism section. Noted global sporting goods manufacturers, winter sports facilities suppliers, ski resorts and travel agencies have been invited to participate in the expos; a large number of dealers, buyers and experts from home and abroad will be present, more than 5000 as estimated.

During the expos, a series of activities have been scheduled. For instance, Sports and Tourism Forum and National Fitness Development Forum are on the agenda; Winter Motor Relay, Ice Hockey Invitation Match and enjoyable fitness activities have also been planned for tourists' enjoying and experiencing.

Heilongjiang Province enjoys the longest winter time with most distinctive winter features in China. There are more than 70 ski resorts in the province, which boast huge market for winter sporting goods with large public participation. The 2009 Winter Universiade has further fueled public passion to winter sports, which has laid a good foundation for the successful holding of the Winter Sporting Goods Show featuring winter and outdoor sports.

Famous for International Ice and Snow Festival, Harbin is also called "Paris in the Orient" or "Moscow in the Orient", for blending Western culture and Eastern culture perfectly. Harbin has developed amazing ice and snow cultures in its long history. Once people get there in winter, they would find themselves in a crystal fairyland and attracted by the colorful local cultures.
