Commemorative Chinese Olympic Bank Notes Printed

On July 8th, The People’s Bank of China (PBOC) issued commemorative Olympic 10 Yuan bank notes to commemorate the upcoming 2008 Beijing Olympics. A total of six million commemorative notes will be printed and circulated into the market. The 10 Yuan bank note is cyan in color and features an image of the National Stadium (Bird’s Nest) and the Symbol of the 2008 Beijing Olympics on the obverse. On the reverse is an image of the ancient Greek statue of a discus-thrower and portraits of athletes in competition. These commemorative bank notes are sure to be bought up quickly!
