Jinmao Tower

On the bank of Huangpu River and opposite the famous Bund scenic zone and located in the golden mile of Lu Jia Zhui financing and trading zone in the Pudong new area. It was invested, built and managed by Shanghai Foreign Trade Center Co. Ltd and designed by Chicago SOM Architectural Firm of America. Its total height is 420.5m, the tallest in China and third tallest in the world, covers an area of 23,000sq.m. There are 88 stories above the ground and 3 stories underground. There is a 6-storied annex, the overall floorage is 29sq.m. In this tower, there are office building, the Grand Hyatt and Sightseeing Hall and so forth. The Jinmao Tower is not only with the modern style but with national style. It is a landmark architecture while Shanghai coursing towards the new century.
