Up your arrival at Suzhou, your local guide will meet you at the railway station and escort you to the hotel. After a rest, you will have a tour to the quiet Lingering Garden and the Pan Gate. Later visit the No.1 Silk Factory to learn how the pure silk products are made from a small cocoon. Enjoy the Garden Show in the evening.

Lingering Garden: is one of the four most famous classical gardens in China.  Constructed during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), it is famous for the way it artistically dealt with space, and seamlessly combined various pavilions into the picturesque landscape.

The No.1 Silk Factory: Suzhou is famous for its silk production.  In this factory you can learn more about silk production and the detailed steps involved in the silk making process.

Pan Gate: an ancient city gate with land and water entrances. One gate with land and water entrances was quite typical in ancient China. Pan Gate is only left.

Garden Show:  You can engjoy the tranditional Chinese dramas, folk instruments performance and so on in the Garden.

Today's excursion will bring you to the Suzhou Museum and enjoy the gentle breeze while cruise on the Grand Canal before your guide escorts you to railway station your next destination.

Suzhou Museum: A new museum designed by world famous architect I.M.Pei was completed in October 2006, covering over 10,700 square meters. The design of this new museum visually complements the traditional architecture of Zhong Wang Fu.

Grand Canal: ranks alongside the Great Wall of China as one of the country's greatest engineering achievements.  It is the longest man-made waterway in the world. Cruising along the canal, visitors can see the life of the local people as it has been for centuries.
