Visit Tiananmen Square. There are people all over the Square hawking kites, as it is a popular site for locals to go and fly their kites, which range from simple one-piece jobs, to elaborate meters-long dragons.

Visit the Forbidden City, known officially as the Imperial Palace Musium. There is also a garden which features a grove of beautiful old cypress and pine trees, as well as the largest of the strange rock sculptures that are studded about the ground.

Visit the Temple of Heaven, which is famous for its precise layout, unique structure, and elegant decoration in the world.

The best part of the Ming Tombs is the road there. Along the path are bizarre, mythical stone monster standing guard.

Visit the incredible Great Wall of China, which began construction almost 2500 years ago under the direction of one of the most notorious, short-lived, and influential of China's emperors, Qin Shihuang.

Visit the Shaolin Temple.There are over 300 ancient stone inscriptions, some of them by famous calligraphers. The large mural of 500 arhats in the Qianfo Hall was from the Ming Dynasty.

Visit the Zhong Yue Temple,there are many rare ancient trees with odd figures and literary quotations which praised as "rare treasure".

Visit the courtyard of Songyang Academy ,there are two primitive cypresses which are the oldest and biggest existing trees of the kind in China.

Sailing downstream to Wu Gorge, you will have your heart only in the twelve peaks of Mt.Wu. They are the Soaring Dragon peak, the Holy Spring Peak, the Morning Clouds Peak, the Goddess Peak, the Pines Peak, the Fairy-gathering Peak, and so on.
