Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1 Arrive Shanghai
Transfer via: International Flight on your own arrangement

Upon your arrival at Shanghai, China's most cosmopolitan city, your personal guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax, or step out into this amazing city for an adventure on your own.
Day 2 Shanghai (B,L)

Sites visited: Yu Garden, Yuyuan Market, Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall, Jade Buddha Temple
Optional Add-on: Acrobatic Show
On this day you will visit the Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Center, which chronicles Shanghai's past, present and future, then take a stroll through the Yu Garden. After, you can observe local people's life at the Yuyuan Market and immerse yourself in the peaceful atmosphere of the Jade Buddha Temple.

The Bund is one of the remaining attractive vestiges of Shanghai's colonial period.

Yu garden is the only ancient garden left in the modern metropolis of Shanghai.
Day 3 Shanghai / Huangshan (B,L)

Sites visited: Nanjing Road, The Bund, Jinmao Tower
After breakfast, you will walk down the Bund along the Huangpu River and visit Nanjing Road, and then get a bird's eye view of Shanghai from the Jinmao Tower. After, you will be escorted to the airport for your flight to your next destination. Upon your arrival at city of Huangshan (Tunxi), our local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel.
Day 4 Huangshan (B,L)
Accommodations: Beihai Hotel 



Sites visited: Mt. Huangshan
After breakfast, you will be driven 80 kilometers (1.5 hours) to Huangshan Mountain, where you will take the cable car at Yungu Station to the top of the mountain. After checking into your hotel and lunch, you will visit the Brush Pen Peak, Lion Peak, and Xihai Grand Canyon. In the evening you will enjoy the sunset from the Cloud Dispelling Pavilion. Stay overnight at the summit.
Day 5 Huangshan (B,L)
Accommodations: Huangshan International Hotel 



Sites visited: Tunxi Ancient Street, Ink Stone Factory
On this day, try to get up early in the morning to catch the Huangshan Mountain's magnificent sunrise. After breakfast you will tour the Begin-to-Believe Peak, where you will see its ancient twisted pines. After all the exercise, you will take the cable car down the mountain where your driver will be waiting to take you back to the city of Huangshan to visit Tunxi Ancient Street and the Hu Kaiwen Inkstick Factory.

The centuries-old Tunxi is a good place for you to understand the Chinese culture and history.

The Ink Stone Factory is a nice place to see the whole making process of the ink stone.
Day 6 Huangshan / Hangzhou (B,L)
Transfer via: Public bus arranged by China Odyssey Tours
Accommodations: Wanghu Hotel 



Sites visited: Hongcun, Xidi
On this day you will be taken to Yixian County, (about 1-hour drive) from the city of Huangshan. You will visit the two ancient villages of Hongcun and Xidi. After the tour, you will be escorted back to the city of Huangshan, where you will be transferred to the bus station for your public bus to Hangzhou.Upon your arrival at Hangzhou, our local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free at your own leisure.
Day 7 Hangzhou (B,L)

Sites visited: West Lake, Lingyin Temple, Feilai Peak (Peak Flying From Afar), Dragon Well Tea Plantation, Six Harmonies Pagoda
The city tour in this beautiful city will include: West Lake by boat, Lingyin Temple and Feilai Peak, Dragon Well Tea Plantation and Six Harmonies Pagoda.
Day 8 Hangzhou / Suzhou (B,L)

Sites visited: Grand Canal, Pan Gate, The No.1 Silk Factory, Lingering Garden
Free in the day until our local guide escorts you to the railway station for your onward Express train to Suzhou. Your tour in Suzhou includes: the quiet Lingering Garden and the Pan Gate. Enjoy the gentle breeze while cruise on the Grand Canal. Later visit the No.1 Silk Factory to learn how the pure silk products are made from a small cocoon.

Lingering Garden is famous for its exquisite designing.

Visit the amazing Zhouzhunag just like step in to the "venice of the east"
Day 9 Suzhou / Zhouzhuang / Shanghai (B,L)

Sites visited: Zhouzhuang, Twin Bridge, Quanfu Temple, Hall of Shen's Residence, Ancient Memorial Archway
In the morning, you will be driven to water town of Zhouzhuang (40 minutes). There you will visit the Ancient Memorial Archway, Quanfu Temple, Shen's Residence Hall, and the Twin Bridge. In the late afternoon you will be driven back to Shanghai (one-hour).
Day 10 Shanghai / Final departure (B)
Transfer via: International Flight on your own arrangement
You will be free on this day until your personal guide escorts you to the airport for your flight to your next destination.

Mt. Huangshan - Huangshan International Hotel




A Three-Star Hotel, the Huangshan International Hotel is located in the heart of Tunxi City. It is located near the Tunxi airport and Huangshan Mountain. It is extremely convenient for visitors to Huangshan Mountain and surrounding areas.

A Four-Star Hotel, the Beihai Hotel, is located on the summit of the picturesque Huangshan Mountain. Located at an altitude of 1,630 meters, the views from the hotel's terrace are nothing short of spectacular. It is the primary hotel on Huangshan Mountain.

The Wanghu Hotel is a four-star commercial hotel conveniently located just a few steps away from beautiful West Lake. In the downtown area and with the good view of the West Lake, the hotel is only 10 minutes' drive to the railway station and 30 minutes' drive to the airport.

The hotel features non-smoking rooms and each room has individually controlled air conditioning, television, internet access, trouser press, iron, and hair dryer. The hotel also offers its guests room service, morning wake-up calls, a boutique, car rental, dry cleaning, and laundry.
Meals
Most meals are included as specified in the itinerary. Meal codes are: B=Breakfast, L=Lunch, D=Dinner.
Breakfast - Each breakfast will be served in your hotel. Breakfast selections include both Chinese and Western dishes to meet every diner's taste.
Lunch - Lunches are normally arranged at the Chinese restaurants near the scenic spots. Your tour guides will order food according to your appetite. Most are Chinese dishes, and some are modified to fit westerners' tastes. A complimentary glass of beer or soft drink is served with lunch.
Dinner - Same as lunch. If you prefer to not eat Chinese food, China Odyssey Tours suggests you have dinner on your own. Your local tour guide can recommend some good western restaurants in the area.
