The banks of the Lijiang River are inhabited by people of a dozen or so ethnic minority groups, including Zhuang, Yao,Dong, MIao, Shui and Maonan.

Visit The Beishan Grottoes.It is 2 kilometers (about 1.24 miles) away from the northwest of Dazu County.

Visit The Baoding Grottoes.Most of the carvings depict typical Buddhist legends or tales with strong religious meaning.

Visit Panda Ground,which at the foot of a hill and by a little stream,you can see charmingly native giant and lesser pandas and their offspring. You can actually play with them and take pictures with them.

The main drag in iCiqikou is still an of authenticity about the place,most probably because behind the shop fronts lies a living,breathing 'real' working village.

Every year during the Dragon Boat Festival people will hold a memorial ceremony for Qu Yuan.
