This is a special tour for those who love outdoor activities and Chinese culture. You have to get yourself ready, for the activity level of this tour is moderately challenging, including hiking, cycling, and climbing. Day 1 Arrival / Beijing (Transfer via: International flight arranged by you )
Upon your arrival at the Beijing airport, your local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax and recover from jetlag or stroll out for a little adventure on your own.

Day 2 Beijing(B)(Transfer via: Private van arranged by China Odyssey Tours)
In the morning, you will first visit world largest city square Tiananmen Square and then walk into the magnificent Forbidden City, an imperial palace of the Ming and Qing dynasties with a history of around 600 years.
In the afternoon you will explore the Temple of Heaven, one of Beijing’s most famous landmarks, which used to be visited yearly by emperors who performed intricate rituals to insure for a good harvest for the whole nation.
In the evening you will enjoy a fabulous Kungfu Show.

In the morning, you will have a visit to the Great Wall at Simatai after 3 hours driving. Also called "Wild Great Wall", Simatai Great Wall is a section that has been well kept in a state of ruin with exposed bricks and incomplete structures. Trekking on the Great Wall is very exciting and challenging.
In the evening, you will be taken out for a fantastic dinner of Beijing Roast Duck.

Day 4 Beijing (B) (Transfer via: Private van arranged by China Odyssey Tours)
In the morning, you will visit the Olympic Green which is the heart of 2008 Olympic Games and the site of thirteen venues. You will have a chance to visit the Olympic Village and stunning Olympic Stadiums such as "Bird's Nest" and "Water Cube".
In the afternoon, you will visit the Qianmen Ancient Street and Laoshe Tea house, where you can experience Beijing local people's day life. After that you will be transferred to the Nanluoguxiang Hutongs to enjoy some leisure time there.
In the evening, you could take a walk to the Hutong nearby on your own to enjoy the Beijing night life.

Day 5 Beijing / Xian (B) (Transfer via: Private van & Domestic flight arranged by China Odyssey Tours )
On this day you will be free until your local guide escorts you to the airport for your flight to your next destination.
Upon arriving in Xian, you will be greeted and escorted by your private guide to your hotel.
Then you will visit Big Wild Goose Pagoda, with a history over 1,200 years. The Xian landmark is famous for beautiful gardens and stunning architectures.

In the morning, you will cycle along the top of Xian's ancient City Wall (1-2 hours), Then you will take a trip to the incredible life-size Terracotta Warriors. On the way, you will have a chance to learn how to make one terracotta by yourself.
In the afternoon, you will go to the Tang Paradise and watch an amazing water screen movie there.

Day 7 Xian / Guilin (B)

In the morning, you will travel to Huxian County to see and try the farmers' painting and paper-cutting before your guide escorts you to the airport for your flight to your next destination.
Upon your arrival in Guilin, the most scenic city in China, your personal guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax, or step out into this dynamic city for a little adventure on your own.
Day 8 Guilin (B) (Transfer via: Private van arranged by China Odyssey Tours)
In the morning, you will travel to Longsheng Autonomous County (about 2-hour drive), where many different ethnic minority groups such as Zhuang, Yao, Miao and Dong etc lives in harmony. On this tour you will not only enjoy the wonderful view of Longji terraced rice paddies, lush bamboo groves and small ancient villages on the hillside along the way, but also be amazed by the rich culture of the Zhuang and Yao people. The highlight of this tour is seeing and strolling in the sea of rape flowers.

Day 9 Guilin / Yangshuo (B, L) (Transfer via: By boat arranged by China Odyssey Tours)
In the morning, you will come to Zhujiang Pier (about 40-minute drive) to start the Boat Cruise along the tranquil Li River, which is the highlight of any Guilin tours.
Along the river, you will be inspired by breathtaking views of peaks and pinnacles, crystal-clear water and reflections in the water together with the serene pastoral views of rice paddies and water buffaloes, you are certainly walking into a traditional Chinese painting by cruising on it.
At Yangshuo, after roaming through the West Street,you can visit the tranquil countryside by cycling along the country road. On the way, you could enjoy the beautiful rice paddies, amazing views along the road and take a deep breath for fresh air.

Day 10 Yangshuo /Guilin / Shanghai (B) (Transfer via: Private van & Domestic flight by China Odyssey Tours)
In the morning, you will have a very Special Cooking Class. Your teacher will accompany you to a local market to purchase the ingredients you need to cook Guilin's local cuisine. You will learn to cook the daily cuisine of the local people before sitting down to enjoy the food that you just learned to prepare.
Afterwards, you will be driven back to Guilin for your forward flight to your next destination.
Upon your arrival in Shanghai, China's most cosmopolitan city, your personal guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax, or step out into this amazing city for an adventure on your own.

In the morning, you will take a stroll through the Yu Garden, Shanghai's sole surviving ancient Chinese garden. With beautiful pavilions, impressive halls, rockeries and ancient trees, this garden is famous for its peacefulness and exquisite design. Then you will walk into Yuyuan Market, the best place to experience local people’s day life.
In the afternoon, you will walk down the Bund, Shanghai's "Museum of Architecture", along the Huangpu River and visit Nanjing Road, which is known as "China's No.1 Shopping Street". After that, you will get a bird's eye view of Shanghai from the Jinmao Tower. The famous Shanghai landmark is the third tallest building in the world and the tallest in China.
In the evening, you will enjoy a breath-taking Acrobatic Show.
