Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival Guilin
Transfer via: International flight on your own arrangement
Accommodations: Guilin Park Hotel 
Upon your arrival in Guilin, the most scenic city in China, our local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free at your own leisure. You could explore this lovely small city all by yourself and get advice about different local food from your private guide.
Day 2 Guilin / Yangshuo (B,L)
Accommodations: New Century Hotel
Sites visited: Li River Cruise, Yangshuo County, West Street(Yangshuo)
After breakfast, drive to Zhujiang Pier (about 40-minute drive) to start the boat cruise along the tranquil Li River, the highlight of your sightseeing tour in Guilin, until you get to Yangshuo County. Free time in the afternoon after checking into the hotel in Yangshuo.
Day 3 Yangshuo / Guilin / Kunming (B,L)
Transfer via: China domestic flight arranged by us (about 1 hour flight)
Accommodations: Kunming Hotel
Sites visited: Reed Flute Cave, Elephant Trunk Hill
Today, drive back to Guilin (1.5-hour drive) and have a city tour to the Elephant Trunk Hill and the Reed Flute Cave before your transfer to the airport for your flight to Kunming. Upon your arrival at Kunming, "the Spring and Flower City", our local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free at your own leisure.
Day 4 Kunming (B,L)
Accommodations: Kunming Hotel
Sites visited: Stone Forest
Today, you will enjoy a full day trip to the Stone Forest which is about 90km to the south of Kunming.
Day 5 Kunming / Lijiang (B,L)
Transfer via: China domestic flight arranged by us (about half an hour flight)
Accommodations: Wang fu Hotel
Sites visited: Lion Hill, Lijiang Ancient Town
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Lijiang. Upon your arrival at Lijiang County, an "UNESCO World Cultural Heritage" site, our local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. In the afternoon, you will have an excursion to the Ancient Town and the Lion Hill.
Day 6 Lijiang (B,L)
Accommodations: Wang fu Hotel
Sites visited: Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, Baisha Mural Paintings, Black Dragon Pool Park
Today, you will enjoy a full day trip to the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and the Baisha Mural Paintings, the Black Dragon Pool Park and Museum of Naxi Dongba Culture inside the park.
Day 7 Lijiang / Shanghai (B)
Transfer via: China domestic flight arranged by us (about 4.5 hour flight)
Accommodations: Holiday Inn Shanghai -Downtown
Sites visited: Nanjing Road, The Bund
Free during the day until our local guide escorts you to the airport for your flight to Shanghai. Upon your arrival at Shanghai, China's most cosmopolitan city, our local guide will meet you at the airport. Then you will enjoy a fabulous visit to the Bund and Nanjing Road at night.
Day 8 Shanghai / Huangshan (B,L)
Transfer via: Overnight soft-seat(First class) train on our arrangement (About 11 hours train trip)
Sites visited: Shanghai Museum, Yu Garden, Yuyuan Market, Jade Buddha Temple
Today you will first visit the Shanghai Museum, Yu Garden, Yuyuan Market and then the Jade Buddha Temple before you are transferred to your overnight soft-sleeper train to Huangshan.
Day 9 Huangshan (B,L)
Accommodations: Huangshan International Hotel
Sites visited: Xidi, Hongcun, Yixian County
Upon your arrival at Huangshan city (Tunxi), our local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The tour in the afternoon will bring you to Yixian County, 54km away from Huangshan city(about 1-hour drive), where you are going to visit two ancient villages--Hongcun and Xidi. After the visit, you will be driven back to Huangshan city.
Day 10 Huangshan (B,L)
Accommodations: Beihai Hotel
Sites visited: Mt. Huangshan
After breakfast, you will be driven 80 kilometers (1.5 hour-drive) to Huangshan Scenic Area and take the cable car at Yungu Station to the top of the mountain. After check-in and lunch, you will view Brush Pen Peak, tour Begin-to-Believe Peak to see the grotesque pinetrees, Lion Peak, Xihai Grand Canyon, and enjoy the sunset glow at the Cloud Dispelling Pavilion, etc. Stay overnight at the summit.
Day 11 Huangshan / Shanghai (B,L)
Transfer via: China domestic flight arranged by us (about 1 hour flight)
Accommodations: Holiday Inn Shanghai -Downtown
Sites visited: Ink Stone Factory, Tunxi Ancient Street
Try to get up early in the morning to catch the magical sunrise. After breakfast, visit the Begin-to-Believe Peak to see the grotesque pinetrees. After all the exercise, take the cable car down to the foot of the Mt. Huangshan, and then you will be driven back to Huangshan city and visit Tunxi Ancient Street and Ink Stone Factory before your transfer to the airport for the flight back to Shanghai. Be escorted to your hotel after your flight arrives at Shanghai.
Day 12 Shanghai / Departure (B)

Free in the day until our local guide escorts you to the airport for your flight home.

Most meals are included as specified in the itinerary. Meal codes are: B=Breakfast, L=Lunch, D=Dinner.
Breakfast - Each breakfast will be served in your hotel. Breakfast selections include both Chinese and Western dishes to meet every diner's taste.
Lunch - Lunches are normally arranged at the Chinese restaurants near the scenic spots. Your tour guides will order food according to your appetite. Most are Chinese dishes, and some are modified to fit westerners' tastes. A complimentary glass of beer or soft drink is served with lunch.
Dinner - Same as lunch. If you prefer to not eat Chinese food, China Odyssey Tours suggests you have dinner on your own. Your local tour guide can recommend some good western restaurants in the area.
