The Jade Buddha Temple is so named for having two jade Buddha statues, one in sitting and the other reclining, which were left at request of Buddist worshippers in Shanghai in 1899.

Visit the The No.1 Silk Factory, you can see how the silk is processed from the silk worm to the final woven cloth.

Visit the Bund, which is symbolic of Shanghai. To the Europeans , it was Shanghai's Wall Street, a place of feverish trading, of fortunes made and lost.

Shanghai has long been the most famous shopping city in China and almost all Chinese products and souvenirs find their way here. The traditional shopping streets have always been Nanjing Road.

Oriental Pearl TV Tower is first highest in Asia and the third highest in the world. It creates an artistic conception of " large and small pearls dropping onto a jade plate." At night, colourful lights glisten and dazzle the eyes.
