Xiaguan is known for its wind and Shangguan, for its flowers. Flowers in Shangguan sway in the wind from Xiaguan. Cangshan Mountain is famous for its snow and Erhai Lake, for the moonlight.

Visit Xizhou,which is one of the cradles of National capitalism of Bai people.It is a famous hometown to overseas Chinese in Yunnan. So, you have to understand Xizhou first if you really want to understand Dali and Bai people.

Visit Three Pagodas, which symbolize the resplendent ancient Dali culture.

Walk on the street,you may see numerous shops, inns, tea houses and restaurants,very bustling and exciting.The shops here mainly sell some locally-made handicraft articles: marble products, straw weaving wares, embroideries,and other ornaments.

In Lijiang, one can find women wearing broad-sleeved jackets, aprons, long trousers and sheep-skin shawls embroidered with the patterns of the sun, moon and starts.

On market day, the Bai people put on glad rags and join the crowds of people on Yunhe's ancient street.

Visit the Baisha Mural Painting,which fully demonstrates the superb artistic skills, outstanding creativity and rich imaginations of these excellent craftsmen.

Visit Heilongtan( Black Dragon Pool), where the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain is reflected in the water between an arched marble bridge and a three-storey Chinese pavilion.

Visit Yulong ( Jade Dragon ) Snow Mountain, where three scenic spots have been developed for tourists: Dry Sea Meadow ( Ganhaizi), Cloud Fir Meadow ( Yunshanping) and Yak Meadow ( Maoniuping).

Visit the Shigu Village,which has always been the Tibetan and Han regions transaction center, the Tibetan brings herbs and fur here for sale,then buys tea,salt,clothes and other daily necessities.

Visit Tiger Leaping Gorge.You may see water rushes into the gorge from a higher place, and the river is like a dragon flying among the mountains.

Visit the Shigu Village,you will take a look at a slopeit which is the best place to take shot at the first bend of Yangtze River.

Visit Bita Lake.In the center of the lake stands an islet shaped like a boat sailing in the lake. and is covered with rare plants and also includes spruces and rhododendrons.

In spring the meadow is in full flowers with the bleak mountains as backdrop.

Visit Zhongdian County,which has a population of more than 300,000.It is at the heart of the Hengduan Mountain Range thatembraces the gorge system of great rivers which rush down from Tibet.

Visit The Songzanlin Lamasery.One main temple has 108 pillars in its main hall, which can hold 1,600 monks sitting and chanting scriptures.

The largest city center square: Tian'anmen Square

Explore the Forbidden City in Beijing. The palace's ceremonial buildings lie on the north-south axis of the Forbidden City, from the Tian'anmen in the south to the Shenwumen to the north.

Visit the Temple of Heaven, the existing largest ancient building for sacrifice in China, which is the precious heritage of the world construction art.

The best part of the Ming Tombs is the road there. Along the path are bizarre, mythical stone monster standing guard.

Known as the "13" Tombs," Ming Tomb is the burial site of 13 out of 17 emperors of the Ming Dynasty.

Climb the Juyongguan Great Wall, whose structures vary and symbolized the essential part of the Great Wall.

Explore Hutong in Beijing, which nearly all run east-west to ensure that the main gate faces south, satisfing feng shui requirments.

Visit the Summer Palace, which was used by emperor for 800 years.
