Trip Highlights

Explore the Hutong in Beijing. There you wil find that men cllect outside their gates,drinking beer, playing chess, smoking and chewing the fat.

Visit Tiananmen Square, the largest square in the world, which is recognizable instantly by the huge portrait of Mao Zedong hanging on the Tiananmen Gate.

Visit the Forbidden City, known officially as the Imperial Palace Musium. There is also a garden which features a grove of beautiful old cypress and pine trees, as well as the largest of the strange rock sculptures that are studded about the ground.

Visit The Longji.The Terraces were first built in the Yuan dynasty and completed in the Qing dynasty by the Zhuang people.

Singing is a favorite activity of the Zhuang people,singing contests are a part of every festival.

In northern Guangxi, a daily necessity is "oily tea." The tealeaves are fried in oil, then boiled into a thick, salty soup and mixed with puffed rice or soybeans.

The landscape around Yangshuo is astonishing and superior to that of Guilin.

Climb Elephant Trunk Hill, one of Guilin's best known sights. It's actually resemble an elephant dipping its snout into Li River.

Some of the most extraodinary scenery Guilin has to offer is underground at Reed Flute Cave. Despite the high entrance price, the cave is worth visiting.

Climb Fubo Hill, which owes its exquisite beauty to geological disruptions over 200 million years ago.

The Stone Forest, a karst landform 200 million years old, known in Yunnan as the "first wonder under the sun".

Xiaguan is known for its wind and Shangguan, for its flowers. Flowers in Shangguan sway in the wind from Xiaguan. Cangshan Mountain is famous for its snow and Erhai Lake, for the moonlight.

Visit Xizhou.On the outside walls of each house, there are numerous exquisite paintings showing the art atmosphere.

Visit Three Pagodas, which symbolize the resplendent ancient Dali culture.

Visit the Zhoucheng Village,which is not far from the Butterflies' Fountain and Erhai Lake.Here the yearly Torchlight Festival of the Yi and the Bai visitors with distinctive national feature, magnificent scope, and vivid atmosphere.

Visit The ancient town of Dali,which was once a vital communications hub where the population was dense.

Visit the Heqing Village.Its population in Heqing is ethnically Bai, and there are 22 other ethnic groups including Han, Li, Miao, Zhuang and Naxi.

Visit the Shigu Village,which has always been the Tibetan and Han regions transaction center, the Tibetan brings herbs and fur here for sale,then buys tea,salt,clothes and other daily necessities.

Visit Tiger Leaping Gorge in fall .It is the second best time to visit thereperiod because of its generally pleasant weather.

Visit The Songzanlin Lamasery.There are two main temple buildings at the top in the centre, and 8 wing buildings around them.

In mid-June Zhongdian plays host to a horseracing festival that sees several days of dancing,singing,eating and,of course,horseracing.

Visit Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan Province and one of the largest cities in western China, which is described as the Oriental Paradise on the Earth for its long history, relaxed life-style, excellent living environment and hospitality of poeple.

Visit the Giant Panda Breeding Research Base. There you will observe the national treasure of China---- giant panda's frolic and forage. You may see some cute newly born panda babies raised in the nursery.

Visit the Leshan Giant Buddha.There are 1,021 buns in the Buddha's coiled hair. These have been skillfully embedded in the head. The skill is so wonderful that the 1,021 buns seem integral to the whole.

Visit The Beishan Grottoes.Figures in this part are something like 'an Assembly of Oriental Beauty', since it enjoys good preservation and elaborate craftsmanship.

Visit The Baoding Grottoes.Most of the carvings depict typical Buddhist legends or tales with strong religious meaning.

Visit Fengdu Ghost City, which is said to be the place of devils with numerous temples whith heartening names like "Bridge of Helplessness" and "Palace of the King of Hell".

Climb the top temple,which was inaccessible because of its elevation,but later an iron chain was attached to the cliff ,so you could access it.

The journey of Three Little Gorges ( Lesser Three Gorges) involves smaller 30-person boats which struggle against the Daning River's strong currents. Daning River join the Yangtse River in the town of Wushan.

Closely connected with the Wu Gorge, the Daling River and the Shennong Brook are quieter, deeper, simpler and more primitive, in which the vally is narrower, the water is cleaner, the mountains are greener and the peaks are stranger.

The early Ditch at Tianjing Gorge in Fengjie County is a typical Karst vally, which is as narrow as a thread, when you look up at the sky in the valley.

Visit Yu Garden in Shanghai, which offers you a different scene of every step.

Visit the Yuyuan Market,you may find the food is a great temptation with local delicacies such as xiao long bao, pigeon egg dumplings and spicy cold noodles from the street stalls or numerous restaurants.

When night falls, colourful lights illuminate the whole Bund area and turn into a scene of the "Wonderland".

Brightly lit Nanjing Road is a wonderful view at night in a sea of lights. It's worth a stroll to or from the Bund.

Visit the Humble Administrator's Garden in Suzhou, which was included in the world heritage list by the UNESCO in 1997.

In autumn, the temple fair of Tiger Hill is organized to display strong local customs and folk arts of south and north China.

Visit the The No.1 Silk Factory, you can see how the silk is processed from the silk worm to the final woven cloth.

Visit the Lingering Garden,which is separated into the eastern, central, northern and western parts:the northern part, cottages with bamboo fences and idyllic scenes.
