7 Days Southern China Highlights Tour

Day 1
Arrival / Hong Kong (Transfer via: International flight arranged by you )
Upon your arrival at Hong Kong, a vibrant metropolis, our local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free at your own leisure to relax and recover from jetlag or stroll out for a little adventure by yourself.

Day 2 (B)
Hong Kong (Transfer via: Private van arranged by China Odyssey Tours)
In the morning, your tour will begin with Victoria Peak, where you can have spectacular views of city's famous skyline, Victoria Harbor and the romantic South China Sea. Then you will come to the floating community of Aberdeen and Repulse Bay of Hong Kong Island.
In the afternoon, you will visit the Wong Tai Sin Temple, one of the most famous temples in Hong Kong, and then walk into Bird Market and the Jade Market in Kowloon to experience local people’s day life.

* Victory Harbor: is the most important harbor in Hong Kong, offering some of the most spectacular views of the "Pearl of Orient", especially by taking a memorable cruise.

* Repulse Bay: is one of the most famous beaches in Hong Kong where you can enjoy a more relaxed holiday atmosphere.

* Bird Market is a narrow alley filled with shops selling a large variety of birds, cages, live bugs for birds, where local people like to stroll.

* Wong Tai Sin Temple: is one of the most famous temples in Hong Kong. Lots of people go there and worship for good luck. Fortune-tellers often work outside the temple.

Day 3 (B)
Hong Kong / Guilin (Transfer via: Private van & Domestic flight arranged by China Odyssey Tours)
Today you will be free to do some shopping in this "Shopper's Paradise" or explore the metropolis on you own until your guide escorts you to the airport for your flight to your next destination.
Upon your arrival in Guilin, the most scenic city in China, you will be greeted by your personal guide and escorted to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax, or to step out into this dynamic city for a little adventure on your own.

Day 4 (B, L)
Guilin (Transfer via: Private van arranged by China Odyssey Tours )
In the morning, you will be driven to Zhujiang Pier (40-minute drive) to start your Boat Cruise down the picturesque Li River, the highlight of any visits to Guilin. Along the river, you will be inspired by breathtaking views of peaks and pinnacles, crystal-clear water and picturesque pastoral views of rice paddies and water buffaloes. Visitors feel they have stepped into a traditional Chinese painting.
The cruise ends at Yangshuo, a beautiful scenic town. In Yangshuo, after roaming through the famous West Street, a busy and exotic slate street, you will be driven back to Guilin.

* Elephant Trunk Hill: is the Symbol of Guilin City, which resembles a giant elephant drinking water from the Li River.

* West Street: is a busy and exotic slate street in Yangshuo County, about 2km long crammed with shops, pubs, cafés and hotels, where you can relax yourself and do some souvenir shopping.

* Fubo Hill: you can see lots of statues of Buddha left about 1000 years ago in the Returned Pearl Cave and have birds' eye view of the whole city after climbing up to the very top.

* Reed Flute Cave: famed as “A Natural Palace of Art”, you can see lots of stalactites & stalagmites illuminated by the lights of different colors and learn how they were formed.

Day 5 (B, D)
Guilin / Chengdu (Transfer via: Private van & Domestic flight arranged by China Odyssey Tours)
In the morning, you will first visit Elephant Trunk Hill, Symbol of Guilin City, and then come to the beautiful Fubo Hill beside the picturesque Li River. Later, you will travel to Reed Flute Cave, which is known as "A Natural Palace of Art", before your guide will escort you to the airport for your next destination.
Upon arriving in Chengdu, your personal guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel for a good rest before you are taken out for a delicious dinner of Sichuan Cuisine at a local restaurant.

Day 6 (B)
Chengdu (Transfer via: Private van arranged by China Odyssey Tours)
In the morning, you will travel to the Giant Panda Breeding Research Base, where you can stay close up to real pandas and enjoy hugging a panda.
In the afternoon, you will visit Du Fu Thatched Roof Cottage and Wenshu Temple, where you can spend some time sitting in its tea house to enjoy a cup of tea and absorb the special atmosphere of Chengdu. Then you will take a walk into the famous Kuanzhai (wide and narrow) Alley to experience the local people’s lifestyle.

* Tea House: is the inevitable place in Chengdu people's day life. Here you can have a cup of traditional tea and appreciate tea ceremony and enjoy many other leisure acitivities.

*Giant Panda Breeding Research Base: is the best place to see Chengdu's most famous residents and know more about the precious species. Hugging a panda is a highlight.

Temple Wenshu: is Chengdu's oldest and largest Buddhist temple originally built in Tang Dynasty, where you can absorb the very atmosphere of Chengdu.

Sichuan Cuisine: Hot pot of Sichuan Cuisine is famous in the world for its unique spicy favour, which is also Chengdu people favorite.

Day 7 (B)
Chengdu / Exit (Transfer via:International flight arranged by you )
You will be free at your leisure until your local guide escorts you to the airport for your flight to your next destination.
