Day 1 Arrive / Shanghai

Upon your arrival at Shanghai, China's most cosmopolitan city, your personal guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to recover from jetlag or step out into this amazing city for an adventure of your own.
Day 2 Shanghai (B,L,D)

Sites visited: Shanghai Museum, Yu Garden, Yuyuan Market, The Bund, Nanjing Road, Jiangnan Silk Workshop
Unique Cultural Performance: Acrobatic Show
Today, your tour of the incredible city of Shanghai will include a visit to the Shanghai Museum, the Bund and the Nanjing Road, Silk Workshop， Yu Garden and the Yuyuan Market. In the evening you will experience the wonderful Acrobatic Show.

Day 3 Shanghai / Xian (B,L)

After breakfast, you will be free until your guide escorts you to the airport for your flight to your next destination-Xian. Upon arriving, your local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. Then you will tour the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. The rest of the day is yours to relax, or step out to discover what this amazing city has to offer.
Day 4 Xian (B,L)

Sites visited: Terracotta Warriors and Horses, Bell Tower, Ancient City Walls, Jade Gallery
You will visit the incredible life-size Terracotta Warriors in the morning. After lunch, you will visit the Ancient City Walls, Jade Gallery and then Xian’s ancient Bell Tower.
As the symbol of ancient Xian city, the Big Wild Goose Pagoda becomes more charming at night.
Walking on the Xian ancient City Wall, visitors may get a spectacular view of Xian city.
Day 5 Xian / Beijing (B,L)

On this day you will visit Tiananmen Square, and the magnificent Forbidden City. In the afternoon, you will marvel at the spectacular Temple of Heaven and Jade Gallery.
Day 7 Beijing (B,L,D)

Sites visited: Great Wall, Ding Tomb, Sacred Road
Special Dinner: Peking Duck Dinner
In the morning you will be driven to visit the majestic Great Wall (Badaling section). You will be then be driven to visit the Ding Tomb of Ming Imperial Tombs and the Sacred road. In the evening you will enjoy a famous Peking Duck Banquet at one of China’s oldest and most famous Peking Duck restaurants.
Going into the Forbidden City, visitors may get a solemn feeling about the imperial palace.
Climbing the Great Wall to feel its magnificence should not be missed.
Day 8 Beijing / Departure (B)

Meals
Most meals are included as specified in the itinerary. Meal codes are: B=Breakfast, L=Lunch, D=Dinner.
Breakfast - Each breakfast will be served in your hotel. Breakfast selections include both Chinese and Western dishes to meet every diner's taste.
Lunch - Lunches are normally arranged at the Chinese restaurants near the scenic spots. Your tour guides will order food according to your appetite. Most are Chinese dishes, and some are modified to fit westerners' tastes. A complimentary glass of beer or soft drink is served with lunch.
Dinner - Same as lunch. If you prefer to not eat Chinese food, China Odyssey Tours suggests you have dinner on your own. Your local tour guide can recommend some good western restaurants in the area.
