- Day 1-3 in Beijing
- Day 1
Say Hello to China, an ancient oriental land. Upon your arrival in Beijing airport, your local guide is ready to welcome and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax and recover from jetlag.
Day 2This morning you will first visit the historic Tiananmen Square, and then explore the mysteries of the magnificent Forbidden City, home to China’s emperors for over 500 years.
In the afternoon, you will visit Beijing’s ancient Hutongs by rickshaw and see how people have lived in this wonderful city for centuries and then a Pearl Store.
In the evening, you will be taken to witness the excitement of traditional Kungfu Show.
Day 3Great Wall, the 8th Wonder of the World, is your first stop today. You will be transferred to tour the Badaling Great Wall, the best-restored and most representative part of the Great Wall. Stretching for 4,000 miles along mountain ridges, it was a great defensive system having protected China from nomad’s invasion.
Descending the Wall, you'll take a leisurely stroll along the Sacred Road, a royal path with vivid statues of divine beasts and officials serving emperors' afterlife.
- Day 4-6 in Xian

After breakfast, your local guide will escort you to the airport for your flight to Xian, capital of 14 ancient dynasties.
Upon your arrival, your local guide will meet you and then visit the near-by Hanyang Tombs, the tombs of Emperor Jing and his wife of Han Dynasty (202 BC - 220 AD), to see the valuable cultural relics and precious unearthings. After having a rest in your hotel, you will visit the venerable Big Wild Goose Pagoda, which is the symbol of Xian.
Day 5This morning you marvel at the incredible Terracotta Warriors, the burial grounds of Emperor Qin Shihuang with its thousands of life-sized Terra-cotta Warriors and horses, assembled to guard his afterlife.
In the afternoon, you will step on the Ancient City Walls of Xian, the largest and best-preserved city wall in the world, and drop by a Jade Gallery.
In the evening, you will have a delicious Dumpling Dinner and enjoy the fabulous Tang Dynasty Show.
Day 6After breakfast, you will travel to Huxian County to appreciate the famous Farmers Painting. Here you will walk into a farmer’s house, witness how the intriguing countryside landscape were skillfully painted by local farmers, chat about their farming life and have a special homemade lunch with them.
Then be transferred to the railway station for a express train to Luoyang, the capital of 9 dynasties in history. Upon your arrival in Luoyang, your local guide will meet you and take you to your hotel.

The morning excursion will take you to Longmen Grottoes. Known as "a treasure house of Buddhist art", it is one of the three grandest grottoes in China, covering 2,345 caves with over 100 thousand various Buddha statues. Then you will visit the White Horse Temple, the first Buddhism temple in China 1,900 years ago.
In the afternoon, head to Dengfeng(1-hour drive) to visit Songyang Academy and the Star Watching Observatory, which are newly enlisted as World Heritage sites in August, 2010. Overnight at Dengfeng Town, Zhengzhou.

The renowned Shaolin Temple is your first stop today. Reputed as the cradle of Chinese Kungfu, the martial art, this temple is often referred as one of China's oldest temple. You will enjoy the stunning live Kungfu Performance in the temple and visit the venerable Forest of Dagobas.
Later in the afternoon, be driven to Zhengzhou to view the magnificent Yellow River, the mother river of China, at the beautiful Yellow River Scenic Area.
Day 9This morning you will go to Henan Provincial Museum to learn more about this fertile land from which China initiated to expand its territory thousands of years ago.
Then, transferred to the airport for the flight to Nanjing. Upon your arrival in Nanjing, one of China's 4 greatest capitals in China's history, your personal guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel.
- Day 10-11 in Nanjing

Today you will visit the famous Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum. Located on the Purple Mountain, it is the burial ground for Dr. Sun Yat-sen who is considered as the Father of China. Here you will witness how he grew up from a professional doctor to a leader of Chinese revolution in 1900s.
In the afternoon, you will set foot on the Yangtze River Bridge, a pride of Nanjing which broke many records. It is the first modern bridge designed and built completely by Chinese, the first bridge crossing the Yangtze River and the longest bridge in China.
Day 11On this day you will stroll atop Nanjing City Wall and see the remarkable Zhonghua Gate, the only remain of the 13 original city wall of Ming Dynasty 600 years ago.
Then pay a visit the famous Confucius Temple to know more about this sagacious man as well as his often-talked anecdotes, and take a sampan tour along the Qinhuai River to appreciate traditional architecture and nice city views. Disembarking the sampan, you'll explore the adjacent Free Market.
- Day 12-14 in Shanghai

Free in the day until your transfer to the airport for a flight to Shanghai. After your arrival at Shanghai, China's most cosmopolitan city, your personal guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel.
In the afternoon you will take a stroll on the Bund and the famous Nanjing Road. Then drop by a Silk Factory to discover how silk is produced and get a terrific bird's eye view of Shanghai from the Jinmao Tower.
Day 13On this day you will visit the Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Center, which chronicles Shanghai’s past, present and future.
Later, you will come to the Yu Garden, one of 4 most beautiful gardens in China and sample some flavorful snacks at the bustling Yuyuan Market, followed by a trip to Xin Tian Di to enjoy the city's colorful nightlife.
Day 14After 13 days' marvelous sightseeing in China, it is the time to bid farewell to China.
You will be free to relax in hotel or continue your self-guided exploration of Shanghai untile being escorted to the airport for your flight to your next destination.

Never miss it if you are a history buff. This 14-day tour invites you to visit China’s Four Great Ancient Capitals- Beijing, Xian, Luoyang and Nanjing, where various dynasties rose and fell. From the Great Wall to Terracotta Warriors, from carving collections in Buddhist cave to Shaolin Kongfu, you will be amazed by those historical and cultural relics.

Located 45 miles to the northwest of Beijing,
Badaling Great Wall is the best-restored and most imposing section of the Great
Wall.
In Chinese, Bada means 'giving access to every direction', suggesting its strategic importance.
Made of large bricks, the Wall has an average height of 24 feet and a width of 19 feet at the bottom, and 16 feet at the top. It is wide enough to allow ten soldiers to march side by side along the wall.


Terracotta Warriors and Horses: discovered in 1974 by local farmers digging a well, it is considered as one of the most significant archeological finds of the 20th Century.
Over 8,000 life-size painted terra soldiers and horses, individually sculpted from real-life models and arranged in battle formation, have been protecting the mausoleum of China’s foremost Emperor Qin Shihuang for over 2,200 years.


Famers' Painting in Huxian County is
well-known throughout China. Different from the usual artists, the painters
here are all farmers, and the beautiful paintings they have drawn are based on
their real countryside life. With a visit here, you will find more hidden
treasures and stories of the Famers' Painting.


One of China’s oldest Buddhist temples built in 495 AD on the Shaoshi Peak, from which it took its name, the temple is also the birthplace of one of the world’s most famous martial arts movements.
Among so many cultural relics inside the temple, the Forest of Pagodas dating back as far as the Tang Dynasty is a must-see.


Located on the Purple Mountain, it is the burial ground for Dr.Sun Yat-sen who is considered as the father of the Chinese republic.
The mausoleum is 158 meters above sea level with 392 marble steps leading up to it and a five-meter-high statue of Dr.Sun Yat-sen greeting people at the entrance of the main hall.


Xi Tian Di is
a fashionable pedestrian street composed of Shikumen and modern architecture
style. It retains the antique walls, tiles and exterior of the Shikumen housing
of old Shanghai, while its interior embodies a totally different world of international
galleries, bars and cafes, boutiques and theme restaurants. This is an area to
wine, dine and chill out.
