- Day 1-4 in Beijing
- Day 1
Welcome to Beijing, the capital of ancient China.
Upon your arrival in Beijing, your local guide will greet you at the airport and accompany you to your hotel in a private vehicle. The rest of the day is yours to acclimatize or explore this dynamic metropolis on your own.
Day 2On this day you will first visit Tiananmen Square, the world's largest plaza. Passing through Tiananmen Gate, you will enter the splendid Forbidden City, the previous home to 24 emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties for 600 years. Magnificent architectures, intricate ornaments and touching legends make it a must-see of China.
In the afternoon, you will drop by a Pearl Store and then marvel at the Temple of Heaven, where kings presided at various rituals for a national good harvest in ancient times.
Day 3This morning tour will take you to the world-famous Great Wall. Reputed as the 8th Wonder of the World, the Wall winds 4,000 miles through mountains, grasslands and deserts across Northern China. Hiking the Wall is quite an experience, while taking a cable car gains you spectacular views as well.
Descending the Great Wall, you will take a leisurely stroll along the Sacred Road, a tranquil royal path featured with statues of divine animals and officials.
The optional Peking Duck Banquet provides a nice chance to try this flavorful dish.
Day 4After breakfast, you will tour the exquisite Summer Palace, and be amazed at the beauty and regality of this 260-year-old imperial summer retreat.
In the afternoon, you will be escorted to the airport for flight to Shanghai, China's most cosmopolitan city. Your personal guide will meet you at the Shanghai airport and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free.

A full-day tour awaits you. You will first come to Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Center, which unveils Shanghai's past, present and future.
Then proceed to the elegant Yu Garden and the adjoining Yuyuan Market where you can find some the best snacks offered in Shanghai.
At last, you will visit the famous Jade Buddha Temple, a sacred place to pray for happiness and fortune.
Your evening is free, optional to enjoy the sensational Acrobatic Show.
Day 6Today you will promenade along the iconic Bund, the best place to enjoy the amazing skyline of the New Pudong District, and then roam the flourishing Nanjing Road which is known as China’s No.1 Shopping Street.
Later, you will ascend the famous Jinmao Tower to get a fantastic bird’s eye view of this “Paris of the East”, until being guided to the airport for your flight to your next destination.

Forbidden City is the world’s largest and
best-preserved palace complex, containing 9,999 well-decorated royal rooms that
represent divine perfection in ancient times.
As an emblem of absolute regality, it was the home of 26 emperors of Ming and Qing dynasties for 600 years. Grand architecture, exquisite ornaments and imperial treasures rate Forbidden City a highlight of China.


Located 45 miles to the northwest of Beijing,
Badaling Great Wall is the best-restored and most imposing section of the Great
Wall.
In Chinese, Bada means 'giving access to every direction', suggesting its strategic importance.
Made of large bricks, the Wall has an average height of 24 feet and a width of 19 feet at the bottom, and 16 feet at the top. It is wide enough to allow ten soldiers to march side by side along the wall.


Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall records how Shanghai was transformed into an
international metropolis from a shabby fishing village, displays the
achievements of Shanghai in city planning & construction and the harmonious
theme of “city, man, environment, and development”.

Build in 1559, Yu Garden is a masterpiece of
traditional Chinese gardens.
Like a huge virtual maze of rockeries, paths, bridges, corridors and buildings, every corner you turn has a new surprise, and a totally different view.
You may often come across a single area from three different approaches, but don't realize you are coming to the same place.


Chinese
acrobatics is one of the oldest performing arts with its history tracing back
to Neolithic times. While acquiring plentiful merits through opera, dance and
Chinese Kungfu, it has developed its own artistic features. In a
typical setting and atmosphere, you will enjoy many breathtaking and stunning
programs, such as Calvaria Skills, Silk Suspending, and Hoop Diving.


Jade Buddha Temple was built in 1882, and recieved
the name for the two refined jade Buddha statues in the temple. The small one was
brought to China from Burma in l882, while the big one was brought from
Singapore.
Though it is situated in the busy city proper, the temple is isolated from the noise, and is extolled as a spiritual oasis in the bustling city.
