On this day you will first visit Tiananmen Square which was once the largest square in the world. Followed by the magnificent Forbidden City. With a history of 600 years, this royal palace continuous delight visitors with imposing pavilions, elegant ornaments and lively historic stories. In the afternoon you will enjoy a rickshaw tour to explore the Hutongs to get touch with the local lifestyle. Continue to stroll a leisure walk along the Houhai (back sea) bar street.
The night option for you can be enjoying the famous Chinese Kung Fu Show which let you know more about Chinese martial art.
Today’s sightseeing begins with the world-famous Great Wall (Mutianyu Section). Reputed as the 8th Wonder of the World, the Wall was first built over 2,000 years ago as a complicated defensive structure for ancient China. Later you will also have a leisure stroll along the Sacred Road which is lined with divine beasts and officers, before going back to the down town.
You will visit the incredible life-size Terracotta Warriors. These clay statues of soldiers, horses and chariots all standing in battle formation were commissioned by the emperor of the Qin dynasty as part of his mausoleum. Continue to a Jade Gallery. After lunch, you will visit the Ancient City Walls, the largest ancient wall in the world, and enjoy a unique experience - cycle atop of the Ancient City Wall.
Tonight, you can consider to choose Tang Dynasty Show as the optional entertainment if you're interested in.
You will be free to pursue your personal activities until being escorted to the airport for your flight to Lhasa, capital of the mysterious Tibet.
Upon your arrival at Gonggar Airport, you will be welcomed and accompanied to your hotel by your local guide (around 1.5 hours' drive). For the remainder day, you’re advised to relax at your hotel to adapt to the high altitude.
The overwhelming Potala Palace is your first stop today. As the symbol of Tibet, the palace was built in 641 A.D. and was a winter palace of Dalai Lama who is Tibet’s pope. Impressive Tibetan architecture, huge golden Buddha statues, red-robed lamas and devoted pilgrims all make it a must-visit.
Later, you will visit the age-old Jokhang Temple, the spiritual center of Tibet, and walk the special circular pilgrimage route as local followers always do at Barkhor Street.
After breakfast, you will tour the charming Norbulingka Park, which is known as "the Summer Palace of Tibet", and then come to Drepung Monastery, an ancient temple that once housed 10,000 monks in its heyday.
You tour ends at Sera Monastery. Built in 1419, the monastery is one of the three largest monasteries in Tibet and is famous for its Buddhism Scriptures Debates.
Free in the day until our local guide escorts you to the airport for your onward flight to your next destination. Upon arriving in Chengdu, home to the lovely pandas, your personal guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax.

On this day, you will visit the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, followed by a trip to the Wenshu Temple. Later spend some time sitting in a tea house where you can enjoying a cup of traditional Chinese tea and absorb the special atmosphere of Chengdu, before enjoy some leisure time along the Jinli Old Street.
This morning, drive out of Chengdu to visit the Huanglongxi Ancient Town, a scenic place famed for old buildings and folk arts, with a history over 1,700 years.
After that, you will be escorted to the airport for your flight to Shanghai, a metropolitan with combination of the west and the east.
Today start your Shanghai exploration with the Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Center, which chronicles Shanghai’s past, present and future. Later you will take a stroll through the elegant Yu Garden and the busy Yuyuan Market for a glimpse of local people's lives, followed a visit to a silk workshop. Today's tour ends at the Old French Concession, where you will see beautiful old villas of French style and know more about Shanghai's past.

After breakfast, you will walk down the Bund along the Huangpu River and appreciate the architectural gallery there. Move to Nanjing Road for a leisure stroll in this popular shopping area.

Normally you'll stay at formal and large hotels conveniently located with shopping, dining and entertainment facilities nearby. Quality service, fully furnished rooms, restaurants, room service, fitness center and swimming pool (in very rare cases there is no pool) all together offer an above-average accommodation experience.
Usually good 4-star hotels are adopted or boutique hotels at request. Hotels best available will be arranged if no qualified choice, e.g. in remote area.
Hotel Arrangement for Deluxe Tour Class
Luxurious hotel with top-notch service and an extensive range of facilities for an excellent accommodation experience. It is normally served at the hotel where you stay. Depending on the hotel, the breakfast would be in western style, Chinese style, or a combination.
When plan your lunches, we consider the balance of food quality, dining environment and tour convenience. We provide a la carte lunch in a local restaurant whenever possible. A la carte meal will give you an opportunity to eat at local restaurant, follow local customs, and taste local dishes. The a la carte allowance would be adequate for a decent meal in our recommended local restaurants, but varies from different restaurants and different cities. However in some remote regions where it’s simply hard to find a non-tourist restaurant, the meal could be arranged at a local tourist restaurant or a local family.
Dinners will not be included in your meal plan unless you have that requirement. Enjoying the local food could be one of your best experiences in China. This is why we provide you this flexibility of food choice. Your private guide will always give you good suggestions based on your preferences.
