- Day 1-3 in Lhasa
- Day 1
Upon your arrival at Gonggar airport, you will be met by your local guide and transferred to the hotel in Lhasa city (2-hour drive). After check-in, you're advised to rest at your hotel get adapted to the high altitude (12 thousand feet above sea level).
Day 2The overwhelming Potala Palace is your first stop. As the symbol of Tibet, the Palace was built in 641 AD and the winter palace of Dalai Lama who is Tibet’s pope. Impressive Tibetan architecture, huge golden Buddha statues, red-robed lamas and devoted pilgrims all make it a must-visit.
Later, you will visit the age-old Jokhang Temple, the spiritual center of Tibet, and walk the special circular pilgrim route as local followers always do at the Barkhor Street.
Day 3After breakfast, you will tour the charming Norbulingka Park, which is known as "the Summer Palace of Tibet", and then come to Drepung Monastery, an ancient temple once housed 10,000 monks in its heyday. You tour ends at Sera Monastery. Built in 1419, the monastery is one of the three largest monasteries in Tibet and famous for its Buddhism Scriptures Debates.
- Day 4 in Gyantse

A along journey awaits today. You will first be transferred from Lhasa to Gyantse (5.5-hour drive).
En route, you will stop to see Yamdrok Lake, one of three most famous holy lakes in Tibet. The scenery of turquoise blue water in the lake with the reflection of surrounding snow-capped mountains is awesome. Then another stop takes you to a Tibetan family where you can chat with common Tibetans and try some their self-made food. After arrival in Gyantse, you will tour Palcho Monastery.
After the tour, continue your journey to overnight in Shigatse.
- Day 5-6 in Shigatse

Today you will visit Tashilumpo Monastery, the oldest and largest Gelugpa monastery in Tibet. Here you will see a giant statue of Future Buddha, the largest one of its kind on earth, decorated with precious pearls, turquoises, corals and ambers. Then proceed to a free market to experience the stylish local life.
After the tour, drive to Tingri and check into your hotel.
Day 6In the morning, enjoy the sunrise of Mt. Everest. Then drive to the Base Camp of Mt. Everest for you to take a close look at this great mountain. And you could enjoy seeing the biggest and the most well preserved glacier--Rongbu Glacier if you are lucky enough for the weather.
You will be transferred back to Shigatse.
- Day 7-8 in Lhasa

Today you will travel back to Lhasa (6-hour drive) along the legendary Yaluzangbu River, the mother river of Tibet.
Along the journey, you will view fantastic landscape of the valley and snow mountains, and get the special feeling of traveling in the outback far from modern civilization.
Check into your hotel after arriving in Lhasa.
Day 8Free in the day until our local guide escorts you to the airport for your onward flight to your next destination.

in South Tibet, at an
elevation of 4400 m, Yomdrok
is shaped like a fan and surrounded by snow-capped mountains.
It also called "Coral Lake" which portrays the shape
of the lake, while its calm surface and beautiful green color give it another name
"Green Jade Lake". According to local mythology, Yomdrok
Lake is the transformation of a goddess.
Along with Lake Namtso and Lake Manasarovarit, it is respected as one of the three
holiest lakes for pilgrimage.


Located on the boundary of China and Nepal, at 8848.13 m (29,029 ft) above sea level, it is the highest point on Earth’s continental crust.Part of the Himalaya range in Asia, it is snow capped throughout the year.
It is the holy symbol in the heart of Tibetans and Buddhists and also the holy climbing attraction for the world's mountaineers.
