Tips

1. Different cruise companies offer different shore excursions for passengers. No matter which ship you choose, upstream or downstream, you are not going to miss the hotspots including the Three Gorges Dam, Ximen Gorge, Qutang Gorge, and Wu Gorge, which together make the famous Three Gorges.

2. Cruise between Chongqing and Yichang are more popular among travelers. On the other hand, there is a limited choice on the ship and sailing date to cruise between Chongqing and Shanghai (longer and more days on the ship), only Victoria Sophia is available in peak seasons.

3. Don't forget to bring with you a formal dress; it may come in handy in the welcome dinner on the ship.
