2 days Dongchuan Photography Tour

Day 1

In the morning, drive 3 hours from Kunming to Dongchuan. Upon arrival, enjoy a stunning panorama view of the laterite fields. If time permits, you could walk nearby to take photos of the beautiful sunset and dusk views.

Day 2

Today we will get up early in the morning to take pictures of the sunrise at the Damakan. After that, go on photographing at the scenic spots such as Jinxiu Garden, Qicai Slope, Yuepu Hollow, Yueliang Field, the ancient tree and so on. In the afternoon, return to Kunming and transfer to the hotel.

Note:
Best Visiting Time: Summer and Autumn. In winter, the scenery might not be as intriguing as showed.
There are no modern advanced hotels in Dongchuan Red Land Scenic Area. So travelers generally stay in hostels or local families there.
